Here is the text from the last Costco discount in Canada:

Eligible Vehicles of 2014 model year may qualify for the offer depending on available inventory– see dealer for details. Limit one (1) offer per each Eligible Vehicle purchase or lease, up to a maximum of two (2) separate Eligible Vehicle sales per Costco Membership Number. TL,DR: You have to be a member before the rebate period starts, so if you want a chance next time the rebate comes, get a Costco membership now. The rebate costs the dealership (and even Costco) absolutely nothing. This is a rebate Ford is paying 100% for the exposure on Costco properties, website, etc. Like all other promotions, you can benefit any that are effective either at signing or at delivery, so if the Costco rebate comes back during the month you take delivery of your car, ask the dealer about it, they have nothing to lose by giving it to you.

Finally, don't forget the rebate is after tax, so the actual money you are saving varies from 860-950$ depending on where you live.

EDIT: Also, the Mustang is eligible, only the Limited Edition 50th Anniversary (the 1964 limited run, not the options package) is excluded.

It did here as well, but it often comes and goes so I'm posting for future reference.

I ordered (here in Ontario) in April and got the Costco discount. I was told the offer was over at the end of April.

The dealer said if any other deals/rebates/discounts came out between the time of ordering and pickup (this Saturday :-) that I would get those as well. So far no additional deals though!

Don't know how it works over at BC but I got an instant discount off the purchase price. I have a feeling your ford guy is scamming you. I would ask around and clarify that Costco will actually send you a cheque.

Interesting !!

Well, just got back from Hallmark Ford here in Surrey. I had a meeting with the General Manager as well as their Financial guy.

My deal is done and will include a check for $1000 direct from Ford of Canada! ( they have done it both ways there! This way I at least get the full $1000 !!!

They did say employee pricing will be announced shortly and if that deal is lower.... I will get more money back!!

This is in writing on my contract !! They did say employee pricing may not be better it depends what they announce, albeit for in stock vehicles only, or the like???
