Looking to make a wheel purchase in the near future (and want to stay <$250 per wheel excluding tire). I like the wide look, and I think I want a square setup. What would the performance characteristics be of going square 10" all around (with a performance summer tire - someone said TOYO Proxes R888) versus 10" and 9"?

Thinking of these in particular (I know they say "rear only" but I bet someone can figure out how to get them on the front).

I like the 6-8 spoke black wheel look as seen here: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1425571&postcount=10 .

Use is for street only in warm weather (but some rain). I have a winter setup for winter. My goals are to reduce rear tire spin in corners and to make the car look awesome (going to lower by 2" and space the wheels out so they look flush).

Cheers!

This is the problem: Back Spacing: 7.2" (184mm) Offset: +45mm (1.8")

You'll likely rub the strut and will need a spacer. A 20mm spacer would put you at +25mm fitment which most usually shoot for 30. So you'd instead need a 15mm spacer and likely replace the wheel studs for longer ones.

I agree there are a lot of nice wheels that are offered but with the wrong offset for the front's for folks that want 10" or so widths.

I've got 20x10 holgens and I run 20mm spacers to make them flush. Slight poke but nothing crazy. They will clear the strut without any spacers and 5mm are needed to to fit the cap. You could even run a 25mm up front and 20mm in the back. The front isn't quiet flush.

As for the MRRs Paul does have a good hook up and lots of options but there's no way he can get those MRRs down to $250/wheel. Maybe some niches or other brand.

For that price range you have a few great options that can work.

The most popular is Niche and their 20x10 offers great style and concavity.

Let me know if I can help you out.

Shouldhavegotthegt, your car looks fantastic! That is the exact look I'm going for. I'd be more than satisfied if I got it that tight. How much is it lowered?

Not sure. Didn't do before and after measurements. Pretty sure the progressives drop the car about an inch. Looks lower when the tires flush. I could get about two fingers in before the spacers now it's barely one finger.

anything in the 19x10/11 in gloss black that is around the 250-300 range?

I love the 6r wheels but they are just out of my budget.

With that wheel you don't need anything else in back, and just a 5mm spacer in front. That is to make them fit like a standard fitment. As others have mentioned you can go larger spacers to get the flush look it thats what you're after.

In a width that size its tough, but 10" all around there are options that fit the bill.
