I'm close to getting a pretty good deal on a new GT. The problem is it has the foundry wheels, which I really don't like. is that too good of a deal to pass up just for wheels? It's also IS and I wanted OW.

They are probably giving up hold back and using the 500 rebate. Still a pretty good deal.

Yes, decent deal. Use the money you saved and buy a set of wheels/tires exactly how you want it to look. That's what I did with mine. The base 18s and brand new tires are sitting in my building waiting for trade time. :)

what does that mean?

I was put in touch with this dealership through costco and he says that someone messed up and put $1,000 under invoice for costco when it should have been $100. They are honoring it this weekend but it the error will be fixed on Monday. Sounds like salesman speak. BUT, between that and the available $500 incentive I thought that was a pretty good price. He's also not charging me the usual addons such as nitrogen and tint and something called ETCH. He claims that i can't find another dealer in the country that will do $1,000 under invoice without forcing the addons. He says it's the best deal i'll find on any mustang anywhere.

That is a good price especially if they are honoring it. You can usually fight the nitrogen and etch charge.
