great review...please don't hate me when I say this but you should check your spelling of the word definitely. I never understand why this word is so commonly misspelled.

Thank you! Just noticed that after you pointed it out... This is why I am an engineering student and not an english student.... hahagreat review...please don't hate me when I say this but you should check your spelling of the word definitely. Wow! Thank you for that complement! Just tried to give my honest opinions with the experience I have at hand with the limited number of cars I have actually driven.... I am glad you guys are liking the review! Again if you have any specific question you want answered about the V6 feel free to ask!Totally agree with Allerick. Zack, your review and in-depth personal analysis of all aspects of the S550, V-6, sets a new standard for the so-called car magazine writers with all their fancy twists of phrases. We V-6 owners to-be all owe you one.
Yah...many of us want to know this. Not sure if mentioned before, but would like to know how the power and handling both feel compared to the previous V6. If there is no actual loss and the cloth interior is actually pretty good, then the v6 looks tempting over the 4.
Check out the power section of my review. I updated it a bit to provide some more info on this. Will be writing up as much as I can on this tomorrow and will post it here.Yah...many of us want to know this.
Zach, wonder if it's possible if you know of anyone with a 2014 V6 (or even the dealer you bought it at) would let you drive the 2014 V6 and then give us a comparison to the S550 V6 (obviously yours).
And yes, I agree the V6 looks tempting over the 4. Also, make sure to check Ford Social to upvote getting more options for the V6.
Sweet didn't see you updated that.Check out the power section of my review. I updated it a bit to provide some more info on this. Will be writing up as much as I can on this tomorrow and will post it here.
Yes sport mode as in S under D on the shifter. Your assumption is exactly what I thought until I actually started playing around with it. When you shift into sport mode, as long as you do not press the paddles the transmission will still shift automaticly but with increased shift points and firmness. It also locks out 6th gear so it basically becomes a 5 speed automatic.Sweet didn't see you updated that.
So when you are in Sport mode (we're not talking sport mode via any button or toggle, but the actually putting the car in 'S' under D on the shifter) correct?
Also I thought that was just for using the paddle shifters. As you saying it shifts and has a different acceleration feel, shift, etc that it does on it's own IF you don't use the shifters?
Interesting. So probably less MPG but more fun and feel to it.Yes sport mode as in S under D on the shifter. Your assumption is exactly what I thought until I actually started playing around with it. oh i see! we dont have rain here in the bay area lol...i should of test drove the six here on a 0-60 and got some numbers to compare vs the eco....my 11 six was a little faster than that stock with 2.73 gears...i think yours should be faster stock for stock unless elevation is an issue. So far it's still the 6.3 I mentioned in my review. It's been raining here in Maryland for the past few days so I really haven't tried another run yet. Hopefully sometime this week the weather will cooperate... Lol
