Cool never knew that option was there fitting borla touring centre box tomorrow in a bid to meet 105 max db at Steeda
So will have a go at that.
:thumbsup:yep...
It does 1/8th mile as well..... no idea how accurate it is though:D
Part worn Pirellis, and normal unleaded:)

Looking at you're results below, does make me question whether I should spend a load of dosh on an SC though.....

Your car is a monster once it's rolling, and the mid range must feel like a kick in the kidneys every time you nail it:headbang:

Looking at the 60ft, and 330ft it's obvious that you're just lighting up the tyres:doh:... my main concern is that once the SC really shows it's worth, your all ready doing prison based speeds:lol::lol:

Your results:hail::eyebulge:

My results:)

Getting the jump on a SC car is easy, gives you a false sense of security but then they just go screaming past you and the rate they pull away into triple digits makes you look slow. :D

We all say we never break the limits, but we all do, no one ever takes their foot of the gas at 70mph when there is another fast car next to them giving it the beans. ;)

Having driven Macs its all in the tune but it puts power down remarkably well and 0-60 is all about traction and gearbox. Subaru Impreza STi proves this, they can better our 0-60 but once past 80mph we leave them for dust or on a roll.

Once your above 60 then power comes into the equation, once your above 100mph power makes a huge difference.

Imagine if Mac's car was an auto, he is pretty damn slick with that stick of his but still an auto shifts faster and his 0-100mph time would be in the 6s region and trust me on the road a 9s to 100mph car against a 6s to 100mph car is like freaking truck lengths difference, it is scary.

But it cost to play and the problem with the SC you need engine upgrades and it also seems the AUTO cars have weaker diff housing compared to manual cars and are prone to snapping the diff housing as TWOLD found out recently. So its not just cost of SC but all the other bits.

End of the day, my car is quick, your car is quick, even Mac acknowledges if he'd have known getting 500 area NA was possible he might not had bothered as point to point not much in it, but on a stretch of highway deploying 700+ always brings a grin to your face, just like we grin when we deploy 500, but you grin even more for every additional galloping horses you put down. :D

Completely agree Gibbo.....:)

But after doing the sums, and weighing up what an SC will actually give me, I've concluded that I'd rather spend the money elsewhere...:)

I took a trip over the Evo triangle last night, (video to follow if I can figure out how to get rid of the speed stamp):doh:and I recon I only got to use 50% of what was available...another 300+ BHP would be wasted on me....:D

Brake and chassis upgrades and some driver training would be a lot cheaper, and probably more benefit for my level of driving...

Spot on, a good driver in a 250BHP Golf GTi will stick to an average drivers ass in a Mustang without needing to try. RWD big power takes a lot more skill to pedal and as such the best modification for Mustang owners is and always will be driving training. Then suspension, then brakes and power should always be last. Though in fairness the GT's brakes are more than up to the job of stopping the car.

I'm also running 20" wheels so the cars tacko is out and I'm going quicker than it thinks but it was my 1st go I will do a little more on this when I get back to the private road.
But if I had my time again I'd stay N/A and then still bolt a blower on the sound and the pull is addictive
