Hitting 95 and averaging 95 for 200 miles is totally different. In the USA? I guess it is possible in some remote locations out west... lol

I'd be at the best to leave it there. :D
Yes I hit cruise control and do 95 in Louisiana all the time to make Charles, 3 hour trip. Never been st 10mpg

Is 5.1 good? Cause that's what I got with my manual EB PP. Mods in Sig. (also it was posted several pages back)

Hwy 10? I've done a lot of driving on that road... it is not so great condition... traffic even worse... can't say the cops were bad though but can't say I'd try running 95 mph for three hours straight.

I'm starting to see why mustang insurance is so high. :D

Lol I said 3 hour trip, not 95 mph the whole way. If you know the route you know the mph changes like every 30 min. Great thing though is mostly no cops and I have one of the best radar detectors money can buy. $500 and worth every penny

It was roughly 200 miles round trip on I-95. 89 miles or so one way, and yes I did average 95mph.. was hitting between 85-110mph the entire way and on that trip I did see 24mpg. Used a little over half a tank.

Now back to what was mentioned, I never considered it but I do actually think my tires are low.. I guess they put Nitrogen in these things, at what pressure are they supposed to be at? I assumed 35 pounds was normal? a friend of mine has a Challenger with Nitrogen and when he took his car to the dealer recently they told him the tires were low at 34 psi and they filled it up to 40psi.

All 4 of my tires have different pressures. Front left is the highest at 35psi sitting, goes up to 37ish, left rear sits at 33psi goes up to 36ish, right front sits at 32psi goes up to 35ish, right rear sits at 34psi goes up to 37 or so.

Mine range from 26-31 Depending on the weather,,but if they were low enough to affect the cars performance you would get a low tire pressure warning. Has happened to me twice so far.

Yeah haven't gotten any warning lights whatsoever. Weather has been a little whacky here recently, it goes from 90 degrees one day to 45 the next and back up and down due to these cold fronts coming down. however, I haven't really seen a big effect on the tire pressure due to the cold.

I get 14.7mpg but i pull on the car alot, the best i got was around 26mpg pure highway going 60 miles an hour. I used to get the turbo flutter like what you are experiancing when i installed the roush intake (IT SUCKS BY THE WAY) but then i got the steeda and the car doesnt have any turbo flutter or it goes into limp mode

Why are you shifting twice? You have 3.55 gears right? I hit 60 in 2nd at 6600rpm. I think you lose a good bit by shifting the second time. Also as soon as I switched tires I gained .2 seconds. Currently at a 4.5 on all season tires.
