So guys, I knew before hand of a dealer getting a 2015 for training purposes. So me and another mustang 6g member went to look at it. He didn't let us inside the car. He wasn't the nicest person that I have ever met, but he did shake my hand tho, so I guess he was nice on the inside.
Anyways, I asked some questions and got some pretty nice (and aw-struck) answers. Here are some details that may or may not be true. But it did come out of the trainers mouth.
1. He said in this Ecoboost, he was getting about 40mpg on the Highway. That was from Tennessee to Arkansas, I assume. This is a manual transmission.
2. He said that Ford under-stated the horsepower. He stated when we get our hands on them, or any other car-enthusiast garage, you will see the horse power that Ford gave out will not be correct. I assume for many reasons? Publicity? Correct me if I am mistaken, but didnt the 412hp 5.0 put down more on the dyno once others got a hold of it?
3. In my honest opinion, the EB exhaust from the outside didn't impress me at all. I felt that I could go over to the focuses and they would sound the same, with the exception of the turbo boost that you could hear when he was leaving.
4. Before today, I hated yellow cars, unless it was a camaro, but DANG. That TY really stuck out and looked amazing. Cudos to you getting the TY. You wont be disappointed.
5. As stated before, the pictures of this car just does not justify its beauty. You really have to see it in person.
6. If any of you ordered the factory rims, like in the pictures. They actually really look good in person. They don't look under-sized at all like in other pictures.
7. Upper Ford Executives said that there absolutely had to be "FORD" on there somewhere. So that's when the decided to put it on the windshield and just take away the blue coloring.
Sorry, some of the pics didn't turn out good because of the place it was parked.
