So guys, I knew before hand of a dealer getting a 2015 for training purposes. So me and another mustang 6g member went to look at it. He didn't let us inside the car. He wasn't the nicest person that I have ever met, but he did shake my hand tho, so I guess he was nice on the inside.

Anyways, I asked some questions and got some pretty nice (and aw-struck) answers. Here are some details that may or may not be true. But it did come out of the trainers mouth.

1. He said in this Ecoboost, he was getting about 40mpg on the Highway. That was from Tennessee to Arkansas, I assume. This is a manual transmission.

2. He said that Ford under-stated the horsepower. He stated when we get our hands on them, or any other car-enthusiast garage, you will see the horse power that Ford gave out will not be correct. I assume for many reasons? Publicity? Correct me if I am mistaken, but didnt the 412hp 5.0 put down more on the dyno once others got a hold of it?

3. In my honest opinion, the EB exhaust from the outside didn't impress me at all. I felt that I could go over to the focuses and they would sound the same, with the exception of the turbo boost that you could hear when he was leaving.

4. Before today, I hated yellow cars, unless it was a camaro, but DANG. That TY really stuck out and looked amazing. Cudos to you getting the TY. You wont be disappointed.

5. As stated before, the pictures of this car just does not justify its beauty. You really have to see it in person.

6. If any of you ordered the factory rims, like in the pictures. They actually really look good in person. They don't look under-sized at all like in other pictures.

7. Upper Ford Executives said that there absolutely had to be "FORD" on there somewhere. So that's when the decided to put it on the windshield and just take away the blue coloring.

Sorry, some of the pics didn't turn out good because of the place it was parked.

I call BS to the "had to be FORD on there somewhere" comment they made to you. Mustang's have not always had Ford emblems on them.

Maybe because this will be a world wide car.

40 mpg? Did a good portion of his route involve downhill driving... STEEP downhill driving?
Sorry, I'm not buying it. 40 mpg just isn't realistic for an engine of these specs hauling a vehicle of this weight.

This thing reminds me so much of the New Edge Cougars. Specifically the 2000 Cougar Special Edition in Zinc Yellow. The lines are so similar and look at that headlight. Straight cougar. Looks so good in yellow.

He said close to 40. I can get 31 in my v6 with cruise on under 2k rpm. I'm pretty sure it is capable of getting 37+

Any examples?

I could get in the high 20s with my 3V GT on the highway if I cruised about 65. Of course that was before I changed out my gears to 3.73.

So with appropriate speed, some cruise control, and mostly all highway driving, it is possible to get above the EPA ratings. Maybe he decided to cruise sedately just to test the upper limit of the MPG.

Nice write up, and I'm sorry but if they told me I couldn't sit in it I'd trip right by that open door and I'll be damned if I didn't fall right into the passenger seat!

After all my pics were taken and questions were answered though...
