Wasn't planning to buy a 2016 Mustang but good deals talk. I was looking to purchase a used 2010-2014 sport car between $15-20k. I was fairly open to everything from a 370z, Genesis Coupe, to a Camaro or Mustang. Saw a promotion for a new 2016 Mustang GT for $28,999. Sent a low ball email for $27k and next thing I know, negotiated a sale price by phone and received a quote for $27,419. Test drove the vehicle and signed the paperwork.

More than I wanted to spend, but I felt I was getting an extremely good deal. It's also only Mustang I've seen that has a black roof but it looks really good on the vehicle. Really highlights the body lines. So yes, you can get a base Mustang GT a couple thousand under $30k with incentives and a little negotiating.

Nice! Are they still offering 0% for 72 months? I bought mine in Aug. while they had the 0% for 60 months, I wish I had known/waited a few days for the 72 month 0% to come out.

Somehow I knew it would be yellow for that price, but it does look good!

I could have gotten a ruby red base Mustang GT for $27,300, and that was the one I planned to purchase, but when I saw both in person, I liked the yellow color on this particular car more.

I love yellow. My first Mustang was an '87 Mustang LX 5.0 5-speed. I wasn't sure about the color but my brother looked at it on the lot and said, "it'll or ably look good cleaned up." When I showed up in it for my first date with my wife to be, my future mother-in-law said, "He's here, and he's in a yellow car!" I loved that 'Stang and I'm seriously contemplating yellow for my 2018 if it's still offered next year.
and the black roof is awesome!

Wow great deal. I thought I got a great deal in August with 4K off but that's really good. I have the same wheels btw. Took a little while but they grew on me and I love how they look on the car.

Wow, that is an excellent deal it seems. I bought my 2015 Ecoboost for about the same, but it was with the premium package / leather etc. Makes me want to dig my sticker up and confirm!

I have always thought yellow was a good color on a Mustang, with black accents they really pop. Having that black roof I think is awesome, a few tasteful appearance mods like maybe black super snake style decals on front and rear...whoa...

Congrats!

Sounds like what I paid for my car...except mine was a 2016 GTPP which ended up being somewhere in the 29xxx range (27000 without the PP).

So on the road you paid over 29k. Good deal!
I got mine for around the same price.

I really like the black roof. The dealer put a limo tint on the back glass which causes the back glass and roof to look like one single unit, a faux panoramic roof. Gives the car a really sleek look and highlights the body lines. Good combination with the yellow imo.

The wheels are nice for stock wheels. There's a chance I mite get aftermarket rims down the road but for now, I have no complaints with them.

Yup, about $29,500 out the door after TTL and fees.
