Mini Meet #1 Mustang NC500: Burton Upon Trent

Hello all,

As you know Stevec and I will be starting in Lands End for our NC500 trip, stopping in a few places up the country.

Monday night (18th July), we will be staying at the Mercure in Burton on Trent;

Manders is already joining us in the evening, and the following morning for a bit of a cruise as we head up the country.

So we would like to extend the invite to everyone. For those that are doing the NC500 with us, start here if it's feasible. For people that are not coming, please come and join us - it's a good opportunity for us southerners to meet folks we usually wouldn't and have a nice little meet. Weather in theory should be good as well

Anyway, let me know if you are likely to come so I can pre warn the hotel.

What sort of time are you planning to be at the hotel? I'm about 80 miles away by main roads but wouldn't be there until at least 19:30 earliest. That said I think I may be double booked but would have to check with the boss (wife) at July is a busy month for us.

I wont be there until probably 7-7:30ish regardless as i'll be at work (Will try Work From Home that day), but if I'm in the office, wouldn't be able to get there until 7 - So wouldn't worry, i'll hang around until 9:00-10:00 ish, and the drive in the morning is [MENTION=14295]Kristian87[/MENTION] s call as to when he wants to kick it off and i'll just escort the fleet :headbang:

Hello mate, Stevec & I will be at the hotel from early/mid afternoon I would think - travelling up from Lands End first thing that morning.

If you want a room for the night, let me know. I have family that work for that hotel group so may be able to get good rates.

I'll just be popping over for an hour or 2 if I can make it. Working next day back in Peterborough so would have to head home. I'll check timings with the wife and hopefully pop over.

Mini meet in burton on Monday 18th July. Hotel Mercure Burton Upon Trent (First on the map below)

Also mini drive (From that hotel) through the route below on the morning of the 19th (IF any of you are available).

I'll be hanging with @Kristian87 and @stevec until 9PM ish, after arriving about 7. Hope to see you all there.

I am hoping to be there still yeah. Got the mini-meet in Kettering this Tuesday and then off to Northampton end of week to collect exhaust from Mattus. Assuming I have any fuel money left in this months budget I'll head up. Had an out of the blue trip to Silverstone on Friday for the GP practice on tickets I won @ work so put a lot of miles on in July already!
