Depends on how you grip it, I guess, but it'll chip/scratch easily from heavy metal to paint contact.

Thanks. I was thinking the same thing, time will tell. My right hand is ring free 99% of the time, so it shouldn't be an issue for me.

BTW, the only prep work I did was to clean area with rubbing alcohol, so I'm thinking it's not gonna take much to chip the paint.

Yeah. my right hand has a ring 100% of the time, I wonder if you could clear coat it or something to protect it a little. The ring is on my ring finger tho and might not come in contact with the paint as much.
