Metallic Rattling noise from under car when Idling

Well, I got my car last Wednesday. Had 18 miles on it I've already put on almost 300 lol. Absolute infatuated with my vehicle and all of the power it has, just amazing.


Today I went out to shoot a video and capture all of the lights @ night for some buddies. I remote started the car and after about half a minute I noticed a metallic rattling noise coming from under the car, probably around the middle underside to the rear wheels.


Not sure what that could be but it didn't sound like an intended noise to be emanating from under my vehicle. Has anyone else noticed this?




Aside from that, everything has been perfect on this car. Panel alignment is great, no brake squealing. I will say that the rear window is uneven under the light but eh, it's so minor that I'm not even going to sweat it.

I really want to get that metallic rattling fixed though.

There was a thread with a few pages on this, but it seems to have disappeared unfortunately. In the other videos I saw, it seemed others had a far more pronounced rattling sound compared to mine. I don't recall if anyone discovered what was causing the problem, but some people said they had their dealer replace the entire exhaust which they said resolved the issue.

When I changed my oil several days ago, I crawled underneath my entire exhaust system and could not find anything that was loose or interfering with the fit of the exhaust so I am unsure what causes this rattling noise especially on cold days.

I made a video of my car on start-up and discovered others had a similar rattling noise as well.

Here is a video of my H-pipe on start up with the rattling noise at the 12th second and quickly subsiding.

I have not fixed mine yet. I'm waiting to accumulate more miles so I can drop the car off to fix anything else that I discover such as my squealing brakes all at once.

Getting a minor rattle in the dash by the headlight knob.

Mine had a similar rattle up to about 2500 miles, and one day it just quit.

i got the same rattling sound after i install roush exhaust. after a week or two it just disappeared.
