In this video we show you how to install a set of Eibach's Sportline spring set on our 2015 Mustang EcoBoost. One issue some people have with the new S550 platform is the stance. One way to fix that issue is with a set of lowering springs. The Sportline set from Eibach will give your new Mustang a much more aggressive look as well as improve the handling. These high-quality springs will reduce squat during acceleration, limit nose-dive while braking and reduce body roll on those hard corners. You will also see reduction in fender-well clearance, making your Mustang look just as impressive as it performs when you install these versatile new Eibach Sportline Springs.

Installation is fairly straight forward and can be done in an afternoon in your driveway or garage. Once we installed this set on our EcoBoost, paired with a set of aftermarket Niche wheels, the look of our 2015 was a drastic improvement from stock. We saw an inch in the from and an inch and a quarter in the rear.

If you are looking to get rid of that annoying looking wheel gap as well as improve the handling of your 2015 Mustang, than check out this great set of Sportline springs from Eibach.

One thing I've noticed is that nobody mentions torque specs or if any of these bolts are one time use or torque to yield. All I see is impact guns being used but of the three i have each will give different torque values at the same psi.

Any tips, or are we just going for "tight enough"?

Thanks!

Thanks for the diy, I ordered a set from you because of this. Do you have any side pics showing how flush your wheels are with the fenders? Does it look weird sitting a little lower in the rear? How is the ride quality on this compared to the gt with the pro kit? Any chance I can get pro kit for the rear and sportlines up front? Or do I have to buy both? Any rubbing with your wheel setup? @Steve@CJPP

you would have to buy both kits to get that set up you asked for.

See if this video gives you a better view.

Hmmm rear end looks lower (or less wheel gap) than the front end... Hope that is just the angle, or I might have to keep my steeda rear springs and drop the front...

Calling out OKC #1 spot after axle back install.
Did you guys end up needing camber bolts to align the front?

I'm still kind of on the fence between the Steeda springs and the Eibach springs as to which spring will give the better overall ride...can anyone offer any real street use spring rate comparisons?

Still couldn't see if they stick out past the fenders.
I know I've posted these before just can't keep track on where I put them so here you go.

I guess "tight enough" is it?

I love your videos and to be honest they are the main reason I shop with you, but this information is important.

The torque specs are not readily available from Ford at this time so we do not post any and leave it up to the installer. We are showing you the process for the installation so you know what is involved. I have torque specs I was given, 89 ft. lb. for the subframe bolts for example, but I do not know that they are 100% correct so instead of giving out potentially wrong specs I chose to not provide any at all. Ford often suggests replacing every piece of hardware when working on suspension, their Focus ST spring kit includes a complete hardware package. Myself and most installers reuse the factory hardware without issue, again it is up to the installer.

If we have proper torque specs we try and provide them or at least make mention that the instructions do. With many of these 2015 parts the manufacturers don't provide anything, in many cases our installs are even R&D for them.
