New Top Gear Trailer

Watched the new Top Gear trailer today, and noticed that a couple of Mustangs feature. Wasn't going to be too interested after the departure of the 3 leads, but will now be watching intently!

Top Gear was my favourite tv show in the wuhrld, I will be interested to see what path it takes after the Clarkson, Hammond and May left.

But either way I am looking forward to what amazon provides

I would love to be proved wrong, but I just cant see it being that great without the three buffoons. They were the shows center piece....the cars were just extras. All the fancy production values in the world wont make up for the rare and wonderful chemistry those guys have.

Totally agree - the three UK hosts made the show. I've watched a bit of the Australian version and the US version. Whilst it's the "same show", it's just not...the same...without Clarkson, Hammond and May....

Top Gear USA got 100x better when I stopped comparing Rut, Tanner, and ??? to Clarkson, Hammond and May.

It also helped when TG USA stopped trying to be TG UK and developed their own shtick.

Fully agree....you do have to view it as an entirely different show. It then became watchable. ...but it didn't matter if you missed an episode or two....whereas missing a top gear uk episode was never going to happen.

Agreed- the AU flopped because it tried to be the UK version and the hosts had no chemistry to mimick the UK hosts.

The US one started similar then evolved and became a better show for it.

Just going to leave this here..... didnt think it required a new thread.

Was wondering why the Lambo wasn't pulling away, but then you see the truck with camera on boom at the end :doh:.

On the Top Gear thing, my wife used to always say "are the idiots on tonight?" She's not that interested in cars, but always wanted to watch "the idiots" as she calls them.
