It should be no surprise that stuff that is easy/well known to make will get made in the cheapest way possible. More advanced/premium things are still made here, but even that's shrinking. If we pushed the boundaries of innovation once more, we'd own manufacturing too. No Apollo programs in sight, though.

I'm sure this sounds good and is well made.

My OEM Dark Stainless wheels has made in China stamped on the inside about 3/8" tall. :) I was surprised to see that.
The Getrag transmission is a German design, but made in China. I'd buy this axleback system if it's confirmed not to drone.

Maybe I should add, the box says made in china, I did not unwrap all the parts yet so I haven't seen a sticker or stamp on the actual product that says that. It probably is made in China but I am not totally positive on that yet. Since I am not home I cannot check right now but I will include that in the pics I upload tomorrow.

We often buy “brand” because it is just that. But if this “unbranded” system turns out to be droneless, I will buy it in a flash.

As another peep posted, LMR has a system that looks VERY similar and sounds great too. :D

they look quite similar to the Pypes I recently purchased (touring)... enough so I had to do a double take, differences (without inspecting personally) being the clamps and the tips are welded on (in the CJPP brand).

I'll be quite interested in thoughts and a video or two when the OP has a chance....I suppose it's possible the CJPP, LMR, and others are made in the same place? Like oil filters, lots of brands but many (not all) made in the same plant type of deal ?

Installation is complete! Took about 2 hours because I cut the driver's side exhaust pipe 1/4" too short and had to get a coupler but then it worked out just fine.

Sound: VERY deep rumble especially at idle, not overwhelmingly loud but the cold start is surprising deep and loud but it quieted down quickly. Sound seems to mellow out from 2500-2900rpm and seems significantly louder from 1900-2500rpm. Didn't notice any drone at all but I did not take it out on the highway yet but I did cruise at multiple rpms and everything actually seemed really nice sounding. I will try to filma video tomorrow, it is pitch black outside already.

I would recommend buying this exhaust if you are specifically looking for a deep basey muscle car sound especially at idle. Didn't notice any raspiness at all.

For the price, the quality is top notch and the exhaust tips are really impressive.
