I could use a little help getting my car into the 9's. I truly believe that I have enough MPH to get a 9.99-9.95. The day will have to be ideal. I need some advice in launching the car. This is a pass last from last year.

60 ft. 1.5091
330 ft. 4.3291
et @594 6.2184
1/8 et 6.6345 @ 108.16
1/4 et 10.2064 @ 138.95

Hot lapped it to a 10.2099 @ 138.66

DA 267

Mods Roush TVS 2.3 100lbs injectors e85, 3.55 drag stars skinnies MT Drag radial R's 345/45/17

Car starts to spin as the suspension unloads and spins on the 1-2 shift.

Any driver mod tips appreciated.

What track was that at?

Have you done any IRS mods?

Probably time for some drag suspension.

345-45-17???

Id say rev it higher but Im not sure what your powerband looks like. 138 is kinda low so Im guessing youre being conservative on the revs. Take off some weight from the front of the car. That should do it.

We got our 2018 Auto into the 10s - not heavily modified either.

https://www.powerperformancenews.com/videos/drag-racing/steeda-puts-its-na-2018-mustang-deeper-into-the-10-second-zone/

The Stop the Hop kit is one of our best packages - I can put you in contact with Scott Boda - he is our drag racing expert, let me know!

Also, what part of Michigan are you in? We have a lot of support downriver, including an installation facility in Michigan Vehicle Solutions that we work with in Southgate, MI.

Best Regards,

TJ

you have the mph and your 60' looks strong enough as well. looks to me like the car is a bit weak between your 60' and the 1/8. have you logged it at the track?

for reference I went 9.82@138 with a 1.40 60' , but I went 6.3@108 in the 1/8.

Thanks Fellas for the quick replies. I have not logged the car. New to supercharging. I have been using tricks from N20 smallblock gBody. Might there be a video to learn how to log the car. I have done it before on Grand National's using a direct scan, however, that is ancient technology 32 fps. LOL. Anybody willing to point in the right direction how of to log using an Ngauge? Thanks again, I really appreciate the input.

The tune is set to shift at 7500. Sorry that should have been 305/45/17 on the tires size.

What other mods are done to the car? The time slip looks typical. So you might just have to ad suspension and a converter. The converter alone will do the trick for sure. Another thing you didn't mention is weight. If your still full interior. Pull that bitch out.

Pull that bitch out. I hear ya when she ran those back to back 10.20's I wanted to pull the passenger seat out and the back seat. We had no tools with us. :frusty: Drove the car to Ubly that day.

They just re did Lapeer dragway which is only 25 minutes from where I keep the cars. Going to wait for a nice cool, crisp day and take her then. It' been 90 + with high humidity almost the entire month so far.

My goals for this year is to get the stang to run a 9.99 and to get my malibu to go 9.29 with a 275 hit of nitrous. The Malibu went 9.40 at 145. I am going to change the gear to a 3.50 from a 3.70. The shift light comes on at 6500 at the 1/8 and stays there to the end of the traps. I believe a taller gear will pull her through and keep the car in the torque curve longer.

Any of you guys in the Metro Detroit area?

yes I have a converter but thats because I'm running a centri blower. You dont need a conveter to see 9's with your combo.

Cant you download livelink from SCT and view the datalogs in graph form or is it different with the Ngauge?
