Question for the BLIS Owners

I have the BLIS system on my CS in the UK, only one I have seem.
Few weeks back car hit my mirror, did not think much of it, the mirror never moved so never even stopped.
6 hours later when parked up for the night walked round the car and saw something not right
the bottom of the light which holds the Pony Lamp was gone.
So shot back to where my mirror was hit, found the plate but not the lamp. Someone kept the lamp and just left the plastic plate in the kerb
So got another lamp, then asked about a new plate rather then having to glue this one as one of the clips was broken
Have been told, you can't buy a plate, I would have had to get a $500 whole light WTF
Is this correct? that the BLIS mirror is all one unit, you can't take the surround of the mirror off?
thank god I found the plastic plate, so have glued it, and its now fine, i think down certain roads I will push the mirror in

Look here and see if you find what your looking for. I don't see a listing for the pony light cover, unless its the included in the whole light assembly #7

You just need to change the puddle light. Number 7. It comes with the pony picture

looks like the mirror does come apart, and you can buy just sections
interesting, cant see the bottom plate, maybe to get the plate you have to buy the whole mirror
thanks anyway
