I'm still on the Zero's here in mid. TN. Looking for some decent winter tires now, or at least tires that will handle the colder temps. Don't care about snow as my Tundra will be driven on the nasty days.

This explains everything. My GT came with Zero Nero All Season tires. Must be PP cars with summer tires. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/pirelli-tires.jsp?s_kwcid=AL!3756!3!72455172613!p!!g!!pirelli%20pzero&ef_id=VhKmRwAABGuxo7xr:20151019183619:s

From the website for Summer Zero Nero tires:

Pirelli's warranty does not cover tires that develop compound cracking due to use in ambient temperatures below 45° Fahrenheit (7° Celsius), so the P Zero Nero, like all summer tires, is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice

As you can see, Pirelli seems to like certain names and throws variations on them seemingly willy-nilly without regard to the consumer confusion that it causes. They aren't the only tire companies doing this.

I was planning on driving my car till end of October but the way the weather has been hovering around 8-20C I may be putting it away sooner. I just wash it, take the battery out, put the cover on and park it till April.

And that's why I like south Texas.

What are these "winter tires" and what's this "snow" you're talking about.

Glad I don't have to deal with snow... I don't know how people do it, but I can't stand it. :/
Yes, but when you guys do get snow (and more often, ice), your entire infrastructure shuts down haha.

I work for a company with a head office based out of Houston, Texas, I hear "snow day" at least 2 or 3 times a year. Nobody goes to work, and everyone who drives is crashing into stuff from the sound of it. hahaha.

I care about infotainment
What's the cheapest anyone here as found the Michelin Pilot Super Sports going for? On Tirerack I see the set for ~$1100. I intend to keep my car for 6-7 years so that's going to be ~$7000 since I travel 25k miles/year.

I have 4 Bridgestone Blizzak tires sitting in the garage. Wondering when to put them on. It's gotten down to 30 degrees already here in New York. Is it too soon for full blown snow tires?
