I saw a Crimson 2018 GT the other day in person... all I can say is WOW. The color is amazing in person... very deep, very rich, its a "dark" color but not dark. If I was getting a new Mustang I would definitely get this color.

Thanks for sharing. This is more what I was expecting when I ordered a lava red sight unseen 7 years ago. Folks think my car is black (pictured in my avatar photo). Looking at 2018s recently, it pained me to pass up royal crimson since it's what I wanted back when, but I'm ready for a lighter color for a while and ordered one in silver.

As a color blind, RC looked black in person. That color is prejudiced.

Royal Crimson is really nice, I thought about it too, but to my eyes and depending on daylight brightness or darkness, it just looked like it had too much of a purple hue (to ME).... so I opted for Ruby Red again.

RC is definitley a very different color.

I kind of wish Ford would keep the unique colors to the Mustang line, instead of using it on every other product in their line up and just changing the name of it for “that” particular vehicle.

Damn. Up until now I was not too interested in the my18. Now I want a pp2 in RC as it looks very naughty. Almost gt350 ish

The body lines are similar for sure.

Had a hard time not watching this! But I gave in and damn I'm SO glad I got the RC in PP2. Looks fantastic all cleaned up!

Now if mine would finally get here!
