why in canada shelby gt350/350R is more expensive than usa

like what i say, in canada the gt350 price is the same with the gt350R in usa.
i do not know why,if i am in usa i can buy a gt350R,but in canada my only choice is gt350，because the gt350R for me is very expensive in canada so every time i think about it will make me a little upset and in Toronto also need high tax，13% or 14%，i know in USA some province or city no taxes，when i know about that， my heart is realy borken

Weaker exchange rate and smaller market. Smaller market equals less competition, which equals less competitive pricing.

yes,that a one reason，but the more important is the tax，in Toronto need 13% or 14% tax，some USA city or province no tax，so if add the taxes it is realy expensive！：brokenheart：

Canadian Base GT350 is $63,099.00 cad
US Base GT350 is $47,800.00 us x 1.35 =$64,530.00 cad.
Note: in general we pay no ADM but are paying 13% Tax.
Realistically the car is probably cheaper in Canada.
Also, when you get in an accident, your hospital stay is free.

The exchange rate has little to no effect on the pricing in Canada. When our dollar was above the US dollar and at par for quite some time the pricing for equivalent vehicles was still significantly higher. Some auto manufacturers reduced the pricing of their vehicles mildly, and this took a few years of an equal dollar valuation.

One difference in Canada is not many R's.
But you can buy a GT350 at MSRP.
Don't feel bad about 13%, I have to pay 15% tax here.

Yup, there is 35 SVT dealers, they get 15 Shelby's only one is an R.
So in theory there will be less than 40 R's in Canada for 2016.

Actually canada has total free health care for those that do not pay taxes

It has very expensive health care that is mediocre for those that pay high taxes
