Plan to wrap the rear lower markers also? As a stand alone I'm not sure like you about it. But if you did the rears to? That might pull it all together so to speak:shrug:

Not a fan of yellow lights at all, but it's all about what you like.

My son noticed the passenger door handle was sticking out. After comparing it to the driver’s side, I noticed it had two rubber stops as compared to the driver’s side’s one.

Problem solved.

Finished the install of the MGW Race Spec Standard. The first thing I noticed was not only is the shifter heavily overengineered, the method of packaging is as well. Its really cool to see something that is so thought out from beginning to end. I've only ran a couple miles on a test drive but it seems really legit. I had a hurst billet on an S197 and I liked it. It had a rawness to it that improved and fit the car. But it was noisy at times and only cleaned up the TR3650 to a point. This MGW is so slick that it feels very refined and that matches up to the S550 very well. The install was kind of rough but not as bad as I was expecting. The top bolt was easier to put back in than to remove. I ended up doing a kind of reverse push up on the driveshaft with one hand and guiding the bolt in with the other hand twisted backwards while rolled in from the driver side and bouncing the transmission a little. The creeper and steeda jacking rails were heavily utilized on this project.

I think it looks like you did a good job, but I’m not a fan of yellow tint.

Finally got in for an alignment. The original tires were wearing very unevenly on the front. Turns out both fronts were toe’d out significantly. Alignment was good other than that.

yes sir, well no progress to report. My mech was busy this weekend and next. I'm going to call Hurricane Performance tomorrow to see if they can install the trunk full of parts this week.

You did a great job and it's really different from the old orange marker lights.

I wonder how well it will hold up to the elements?
