I am interested in putting on dual over-the-top stripes, AND then putting on Clear Protective Film for full bumper, and front 22" of hood.

I talked to 3-4 installers so far, and I am getting mixed answers. Some don't recommend putting clear over the stripes since the clear can not be 100% down to the paint along the edge of the stripe.

It sounds as though those interfaces will barely show the effect of the tiny gap in adhesion. But I suspect that only I will know and notice, and only when I look hard and close.

I really want the stripes, and the CPF makes it seem that I will have many fewer DrColorChip sessions over the car's lifetime. I really don't want to have to choose one over the other.

Another drawback is that if I ever had to pull off the stripes due to degraded appearance from aging, then I am faced with also discarding or replacing the most expensive sections of the CPF.

Does anyone have both strips and CPF on their car?

I do and have my clear bra over the stripes. There is a bit of non-contact at the seams in places but it is not that big of a deal to me. My stripes are protected against rock now for the most part.

Just put the stripes over the bra, problem solved. They're just stripes, no need to protect them. If they get chipped you cab easily replace them.
