My custom steering wheel installed, Pics below!!

It is finally finished and on the car and all I can say this has totally transformed the driving dynamic of my car.
I disliked the original wheels thin shape and cheap slick leather that just didnt feel sporty one bit. My wifes Jetta GLi30 has a thick flat bottom wheel which feels total bliss and i modeled my new Mustang wheel after that and an E63 AMG.

the most important elements of a sports and drivers car are the seats, steering wheel, location of pedals and shifter.

I took an original wheel, reshaped and padded and then re-wrapped with a new pattern and stitch pattern like the EURO cars.


I know this isn't a mod for anyone but if your a real driver you would appreciate this mod the first moment you hold it in your hands. its a HUGE difference.

I am willing to make anyone here a wheel if they so desire but remember it isn't cheap and its very labor intensive as this is not made in China.

PM if anyone is seriously interested. Prices will be equivalent to the Grant Air bag wheels for the S197 cars

also I have the full removal procedure to remove and install the SRS and I have two donor wheels in stock. I am making another now for a friend in Alcantara with a center stripe.

If we decide to do this new wheel, do we send a replacement wheel or do you buy a new wheel and do all your work to that one and send it back?

here the horrible stock wheel, i absolutely hated it.

So I guess it's for people who keep their hands at 10 & 2 when driving? Looks nice, man, you did a really good job with the leather. It's not for me -- I normally drive either with my left hand on aluminum spoke at 9 or my right hand on the wheel bottom at 6 -- but it looks really professional.

I have a few cores in stock for Manual gear cars only, so i would charge you a core what it cost me and refund once i get your original back.

I have 3 cores in stock but not for long, PM me details and any custom request, i need 2 weeks as i do these after work hours to relieve myself from the kids and wife

guys here are 4 photos showing the thickness change from stock, look how the stock grip area is barely any different than the rim itself. just measured with my caliper
