Hood open icon always on after procharger install and tune loaded....

Anyone have this problem? Did I miss something? I checked and double checked everything and the hood open icon still comes on in the car. Also when I start it and it's struggling to idle, the "push clutch in to start" message comes on too. I know I need to do some datalogging with lund, just wondering if anyone has any knowledge about the car showing the hood is open when it's shut....thanks.

Check to be sure your intercooler is not in contact with the hood latch. It may be putting pressure on it. It's easy to do since the instruction manual states to position it as high as possible.

You might also check that the latch sensor didn't inadvertently get disconnected, dislodged, damaged, etc.

Where is the latch sensor? Don't think I even touched it.

I had the same problem, check the sensor on the latch, it´s an easy fix.

Got it fixed! Thanks for the information guys. Drove it for the first time today and did a couple datalogs for lund. All I can say is right now the car runs like crap. Hanging idle really bad, think it was misfiring too. No throttle response at all. Couldn't hold a steady idle at 1500,2500, or 3500 like they wanted. It kept creeping up even if I tried to keep the throttle steady. Hope they get it all worked out!!
