Frist pictures of new car

Picked up the car from Thomson Ford yesterday afternoon.
Must say that the dealer did a great walk through of the car features (many I already knew about from info on this site) and they provided us with a few gifts (Mustang T shirts & hats).

To top that off, most unexpectedly, the salesman (Rod) proceeded to present me with 2 professionally photographed and framed pictures of my car.

My first impressions are - this is one nice car and every thing you have heard about it is true. It drives great, handles well - and you cant beat the sound of a V8. While the exhaust may be a bit quiet - it still has that throaty roam when you put your foot down.

love the front seats - they really hug you and the cooled seats feature is great- the only down side that I have found is the back seats head room is low.

It certainly gets people looking....while I was parked in my driveway (only for about 20 mins) while I fixed the front number plate - I had 5 people who were driving pass stop and ask about it.. its certainly a looker...

Cant wait to take it out again today for a drive....

That looks fantastic! Congratulations. The great effort by your dealer has to make you and the car feel special. Enjoy (like that'll be difficult)

Sorry about my amateur photos. This seems like a good thread to post new deliveries.
Picked up yesterday as well. Consider myself very lucky as I know cars from previous boats have yet to be delivered with little or no explanation from Ford!
No hats or T Shirts for me however the car is great.
It has the nickel lustre wheels when they should be the standard black. Dealer says I will get another set of wheels when they arrive. I am a bit unsure which I prefer now as it looks good, at this stage I think I will get them changed to the black.
This car is to replace my wife's BMW 135i (pictured below for comparison). She has yet to be convinced the Mustang is a girls car! Although she loved the drive yesterday around the Summernats crowd(lots of classic Stangs). People were hanging out of their windows videoing us, and running up to us at the traffic lights to ask questions. Lots of toots
The Oxford White looks sensational on the road in the flesh, much better than in the pics.
Another pleasant surprise is that I fit comfortably at 6'7" and largish frame.

Number plates are to be changed to slim black/white ones.

Congratulations on your car; that's what I would have expected from a dealer after such a long wait and many headaches. Unfortunately my dealer was nothing like this, hope others can take a leaf out of their book.

Quite impressed with your dealer's handover. Unfortunately mine was a bit rushed on NY's eve.

The technicians were still working on the DAB radio when I arrived.

Loving my car too, it really is spectacular.

Have fitted my Corsa Sport catback exhaust, so will try to get some photos/audio posted this weekend.

Nice work Aussie Mate....it almost looks like your dealer respects you as a customer......never going to happen at my dealership as long a sheep like myself keep rolling up, buying cars sight unseen and willing to wait for an eternity.:cheers:

Congratulations! Makes all the waiting worthwhile! Good to see your dealer made it special for you, the framed photographs is a nice touch and it will be great to look up from a desk at home and see those on the wall! Enjoy the drive!

Sinclair Ford delivered their first one yesterday, a White manual GT, so it's great to see these ponies getting out there.
