I agree with you on the MT adding character and a bit of enjoyment factor. It's a shame Ford Aus missed the boat by not offering an MT vert, I reckon they'd have alot more vert sales if they did.

Don't show your mates that, you'll be helping them move house next weekend. Once you get a ute, everyone wants to be your friend. :lol:Showing how versatile the convertible is...

Short version: not planned, it just happened.Out of interest, what made you get the CJPP x-pipe rather than the one that comes with the S-type catback?

I swapped for the GT350R wheel last weekend, thanks to the group buy 2-STANG organised!
Looks awesome Scott :first: If anyone would be interested I have one the same BNIB I will be selling. I ended up changing my mind because of my revised colour scheme and bought the GT350 with silver stitching and grey centering ring.
Awesome mate, did you run the AB's on their own and fit the X-pipe after or do it all at once? I have a Ford Racing X-pipe sitting at home to throw on but have had reservations because of the volume increase. Sorta happy with how my FR Borla Sport AB sounds now but would like a bit more rumble/crackle in it but not at a ridiculous volume.About time for another update.
First there was Borla!
An S-Type axle back combined with a CJPP X pipe.
The X pipe provides a good rumble and the AB deepens and loudens.
I think by about 2k the new setup is louder than the stock one ever gets.
But now it sounds muscular
The local guys who installed it put a couple of tack welds on it to stop the pipe work sagging a bit which seemed to happen with the AB. Not sure if the problem is less on fastbacks (it looks like the 'verts might have a slightly different pipe path)... but may be something for guys with heavily lowered cars to consider.
It's subjective, right? I DD a car that's "louder" for about 2 years, so this is fine. But occasionally it wears - if I'm tired or something... I'll think about making it quieter... then I'll get home and give it a few revs in the garage and smileNice.
How do you find the S-Type in a DD convertible? It's the exhaust solution at the top of my list at the moment. I'm looking for something between standard and a Roush axle back.
Your thoughts?
LOL, not another part! You'll have to get a second 'Stang, build one with your old plan, one with your new and sell whichever you like least ;)If anyone would be interested I have one the same BNIB I will be selling. All at once - in the end I thought both would be OK and I CBF'd organizing two mechanic visits to get the whole system done.Awesome mate, did you run the AB's on their own and fit the X-pipe after or do it all at once?
