So, I've pretty much decided I am going to get some RTR Tech 7 wheels either in charcoal or in black, leaning towards the black. I want to go with 19s.

What wheels should I go with? I want a square setup so I can rotate my tires. I've been running Pirelli AS 18s since I bought car. 14,000 miles on them. What brand of tires should I get and how wide a wheel/tire setup?

I care mostly about handling and cornering ability and getting the tires to hookup.

I'm not sure if I should get summer tires and keep the original Pirellis and stock rims as backups for the winter. Summer is nearing its end and I live in Maryland where we get quite a bit of snow/ice/sleet. So I won't be able to use summer tires soon. Or should I look for a better set of all seasons such as Michelin Pilots or Continentals?

Here is what my car looks like. I think some black wheels could make it look sweet.

I dont carry RTR wheels but I do know their setups so what youll want is the following

19x9.5 Square

As for tires I say go with a decent all season tire so you can run it in the cold as well.

275/40/19

BFG G Force Comp 2 A/S
Conti DWS06
Michelin Pilot A/S 3+

Dont mind Carlos he didnt have his wheaties this morning LMAO

Yes, sorry I meant what tires should I get. And also whether or not I should go with 9.5" wheel or 10.5" wheel.

^^^also thanks Need4SpeedMotors. That's the type of response I am looking for. I appreciate that.

Maybe he is asking width and offset?
Yes that too. I am such a noob when it comes to this so most likely any information would helpful. I didn't even know what the tire sizes stood for until yesterday. So now I understand the width and aspect ratio, etc. but am looking for opinions on how to best optimize my setup.

No worries man I mean at the end of the day thats why were are here to help out and provide quality info.

On the RTR wheels I dont know their offsets by heart though so other then that just what works based on their widths.

My car on MRR GF6 and later Project 6GR wheels. Give you idea of silver vs. black.

...and then a nice example of the greatest car ever made.

That Conti Oh my

And the 6gr wheels as well

I mean on DIB you can do black and or the charcoal for the RTR would pair very nicely as well.

Its like how our Satin Graphite 6GR wheels look on the DIB but the RTR are a few shades darker.

From what I've seen 275/40 R19 seems like a good size for what I am after. I am hoping to get out of this around 2 grand. I just spent 4-5 on BMR/Koni suspension parts. But now it needs that rubber and that sexier look. I do say though, my wheels actually looks nice with the new stance, after a wash and tire shine on them.

But those stock 18 Pirellis just aren't up to the task. One night I took at 90 deg. left turn at 60mph! Hit the gas on exit and tires broke loose and back end came out. It was correctable though and nobody got hurt lol. I never do that but I wanted to test the limits of the suspension. Car felt like it could do it, but tires said no take it easy brah. Lol. I don't suggest anyone try this on the street.

275/40/19 are a wide spread option and affordable.

Those BFG COmp 2 A/S im talking about are no more then 200 a piece if not mistaken so I say those and the RTR your right at the 2k mark if not under it a bit.
