Hello StangFans
Iam running stock wheels/tires on my 2016 GT PP
(19" - 255/40/9/ET45 front, 275/40/9,5/ET53,5 rear) and because they are only few months old, i want to use the same tires but on new wheel setup (and keep my OEM wheels for winter tires only)
My main aim is to flush the wheels with fenders, but i dont wanna go agressive and i also dont wanna make my driving experience worse (turning, grip...)
I picked these wheels: AceAlloy AFF02 in black matte
http://www.acealloywheel.com/5-SPLIT-SPOKES-DESIGN_1_1094_op3.html
And since there are few options to pick, i will write you 2 options iam thinking about and ill be more than happy if you tell me what you think is better setup and why. I also measured the gap between fender and tire and on my car its aprox 17mm front and 26 mm rear just for info)
Thanx a lot for your time guys and girls
(and please keep in mind that i want to use my stock Pzero tires for now)
Option 1:
Front - 19x8,5, ET25 - (according to tire size calculator the tire should be 20mm further away from center, the rim 14mm)
Rear - 19x10, ET35 (18 mm tire, 24mm rim further away)
-the problem with this one is the rim on the rear is a liiitle bit too far away, the front is lacking like 6mm to flush according to calculations but its acceptable for me)
- also both wheels have different wide the stock (8,5 and 10 instead in 9 and 9,5) - and iam not sure how it affect driving...
Option 2:
Front - 19x8,5, ET38 (tire 7mm further away, rim 1mm)
Rear - 19x9,5, ET38 (both tire and rim 14mm away)
-in this setup iam counting with 15-20mm spacer in front to flush the front wheels, the rear is OK for me.
-problem with this one is the need of spacer and also less concave look of the wheels
So - what would you pick and why??
Just to know, iam running SR lowering springs (25mm all around) and its my daily driving car
