Update from Karen Today. Mine also waiting for a boat to be assigned. Also built 12th Jan and mine ordered March last year.
Previous date for receiving car was 27th March.
Not holding my breath.

While on the way to pick my wife up a Valentines present (i know:frusty

, I thought I would pop in and see my dealer for a quick catch up. Good news is that expected delivery to dealership is still around mid March (19th based on his system).

However, while there, he just got off the phone to another customer explaining why she will not be receieving her car anytime soon. Apparantly, a number of cars, while awaiting to be loaded onto vessels to leave Baltimore, had there windows left open by the drivers. The storms hit and the cars were flooded. Ford deemed these cars were too damaged to be sold or repaired, so sent them back for the crushers!!!.

WTF!!!.

Hope this will not affect anyone here (shame its affecting anyone really).

That gives me a bad feeling! Particularly because my car's been at the docks for so long and because I've had no reply from my last 3 emails to the Mustang email address! Coincidentally I sent an email this morning asking them if there was a problem with the order. Still no response, the silence is worrying!

Oh sh1t, if that's true, that's awful. I fear for our Jan build people that this could have happened to them @stiggy @Centurion07 @benanderson89 have you called your dealers to check if yours are okay (think you 3 were the jan builds of the top of my head?).

On another note, i'm somewhat relieved now that my car wasn't there at that point as that'd just add to the stress levels haha!

Well not had a call from my dealer to tell me I'm not getting it any time soon...
Or to tell me its waiting on a boat...
Or at all actually...

If I'm not on a boat by next week's email to the helpdesk then it'll be PM Deysha time. FordService will know the whereabouts of every car on US soil and I trust them not to bottle telling me.

I'd PMd Deysha earlier this week. For the first time, she's good! Took a while to come back, but, dont expect her to be checking forum PMs 24/7!

I'd never expect your dealer to call you anyway, mine told me he would when i had a build date (no call) and he would when it was built (still no call), and he would once it'd been gate released and a boat was aranged.... oh yeah, still no fking call...

Just for precaution, (and i know ignorance can be bliss, but frustration/waiting anxiety is far worse), any of the Late Dec/Jan builds, or cars that were at the docks in Baltimore PRE SNOWSTORM. Call your dealers, get an update, don't wait in vain. (Maybe something like this Happened to Starks and they covered up by pretending to lose it?)

I got an unsolicited call yesterday. My car is still on track for the 2nd of April, though it may arrive earlier. So, hopefully, that means my car is fine.

I'm still wondering if my car will be built before the MY16 cut off. Have told my dealer if it's possible I want MY17 grabber blue, but with more delays it could get pushed too far back

Nah, not for me. Can't be stressing about something a Ford dealer said, and not even my dealer. Will stick to my weekly pestering schedule.

2nd April worries me, i was built 3 or so weeks after you... which puts me on for my 'late april guess'... Would have prefered Earlier in April than later :doh:.

Suppose we will see what boat I get put on... When my car gets to Baltimore,
which it hasn't.
And it's been gate released for 8 days.
