I checked, but it seems that my battery is not the type that allows refilling with liquid.
Also, the voltage meter was showing 14.2V again today, which appears to be normal.
I’m interested in this.
Is it safe to start the engine with this connector unplugged?
If it works, the voltage on the dashboard should show the alternator’s full output, right?
Thank you, everyone.
Sorry for the late reply.
Let me explain the situation in more detail.
The battery is an AC Delco, and I just replaced it six months ago. Of course, I also reset the BMS.
At the time when the voltage was 11.8V, the air conditioner was on — it’s been pretty hot...
This morning, when I started the engine and was about to drive, I noticed that the voltage displayed on the meter was 11.8V.
As I picked up a bit of speed, it increased to 12.0V, and after driving a little further, it returned to the usual range of 12.5V to 13.5V.
I’ve never seen it show...
If I were to replace it with that, would I only need to replace the intake manifold?
If I can just replace it without needing a conversion kit or tuning, I would like to do it.
My mustang gives codes p3000 and p3008.
First I suspected the ignition coil and plugs and replaced them, but that didn't fix the problem.
Next I am suspecting an issue with the intake manifold but I don't know the part number that fixed the IMRC issue.
I am afraid of replacing the intake...
I changed the automatic transmission oil.
I also replaced the oil filter and gasket at the same time and cleaned the oil pan.
There were no issues whatsoever and shifting became very smooth.
If the shifter switch is involved and a program reset is required then that seems like the cause.
When the shifter switch is broken, turning the ignition on and off repeatedly may have caused the bug. (The ignition is forcibly recognized as being in P if it is turned on and off once.)
Is it...
Thank you. I checked and did not find any damage to the brake pedal bumper.
And to make matters worse my vehicle is a 6r80.
I honestly don't know if it's a program bug or mechanical damage.
I replaced the shifter microswitch but that did not fix the issue.
The brake lights turn on and off normally and the engine can be started by pressing and holding the start button.
Does anyone know why this message appears?
I finally solved this problem by replacing the microswitch.
The part number is Omron D2QW-C073H.
Replacing this switch solved the problem of the shift lock not working properly and the problem of it not going into P.
Anyone having this problem should give this a try.
Hey.
The micro switch for the park position on the shifter of my car broke.
So I looked for a suitable microswitch, but I couldn't find any information.
Does anyone know anyone?
The parking micro switch was activated to turn off the engine. (The chime was not activated.)
After that, when I started the engine again, the "Press brake" message did not appear.
When I start the engine of my Mustang, the meter displays "To START Press Brake."
It is possible to start the engine without any problems.
I'm pretty sure I'm on the brakes, and the brake lights are on.
However, the engine start button does not flash when you step on the brake.
Has anyone...
