Hi I have a 2021 Mustang GT. Car had an otr intake and I am currently running an eco boost radiator. Car has always ran hot and can’t enjoy driving the car in the heat. I was looking at switching over to an aftermarket dual pass 4 core radiator. The radiator is smaller in length but thicker. I...
I ended up blowing my motor. I was an ess g3 on a 100 pulley headers e85 fuel system. I bought a used gen 3 motor with 33k miles. I was planning on putting a stock motor in my car and selling it. I took my fuel system off and supercharger. I had e85 fuel in my car sitting for 2 months. On first...
Hi I have a 2020 Mustang GT FBO on car I ended up putting my car on the dyno for fun and the car seems to fall at 6600 for 3 runs in a row. I’m thinking my exhaust is probably my limiting factor seeing if someone ran into this or has an opinion. Will be getting my cats removed and getting a pipe...
Yes but a stock coyote head ported should make more hp. A ported head properly tuned with cams and a ported cj should
Yeah I’m not looking for 50 hp or more from porting heads I was just originally talking about how someone said rob said he tested and saw no gains at all from porting heads...
I talked to Frankenstein about their Gen 3 heads ported they said I’d expect to see only about 15-20 because of the comp stage 2 cams I have. If I went with some custom cams and did springs on the heads I’d be seeing more than 15-20 hp. But their heads are about 3k shipped and it’s a 5-6 week...
Yeah I’m not saying I’m restricted or anything on the heads on a n/a build I’m just going to be trying to squeeze as much hp I can without opening the bottom end and changing compression ratio or anything. But just why wouldn’t you see any gains? There’s no other restrictions such as the intake...
Yeah it’s kinda hard to believe that when porting your heads on a n/a car that you won’t be seeing gains from that. It’s not really a restriction but I wouldn’t see why it wouldn’t help benefit anything just a little bit yk. You see all kinds of gains other makers get from porting their heads...
I have a 2020 Mustang GT
I currently have Texas speed lt headers with a corsa double h pipe with the stock active exhaust
I recently purchased a cobra jet v2 that I’m getting ported. I have the twin 69 tb and I’m going to be using the p51 fender well intake.
planning on doing stage 2 comp...
It was like this yes. I messed with my shifter for like 2 hours and was able to finally get it not to feel so stiff anymore. I guess the Barton on the bottom post that mounts to the assembly on the tranny wasn’t tightened all the way and it was fighting me to push it into every single gear but...
Yeah when driving it feels a bit more resistant. I adjusted the shifter and played with it a bit and it feels better now. The shorter throw and more effort it takes to push it into gear is something I still need to get used to so that’s possibly me not being familiar with that yet.
Yeah I was messing with that top plate for along time trying to get it to feel right but it just never did. I was reading something and they said possibly the actual 4 post bracket with the shifter that mounts onto the assembly on the tranny isn’t maybe centered and when tightening it it feels...
Yeah that’s what I’m possibly thinking. When I’m at a stop with the car off all the gears take a little bit more force then what my old transmission felt like.
