  1. Metal railing underneath car

I know it's a stupid thing but I can be pretty ocd. Black paint could be a nice workaround. Right. Easier said then done. Lol
  2. Metal railing underneath car

No troll, but maybe I am being a dumbass. That area looks like it should sit relatively flush with the side skirts, not extend below them. Kind of looks sloppy to me. I would assume it was normal if it was the same situation on the passenger side, or if I noticed the same thing on other...
  3. Metal railing underneath car

I just noticed something strange with the driver side of my car. There is a piece of metal railing visible underneath when viewing from the side. Not even sure what it would be called (part of the frame?). It's not noticeable on the passenger side, and I haven't seen it on any other S550's. At...
  4. Vinyl Stripe Issue

So just to update, while closely inspecting the stripes I noticed a couple more areas that have some minor issues. I've heard that after a while the vinyl can start to get problematic (not to mention they scratch/swirl very easily). Went ahead and saved myself some trouble by having them removed...
  5. Vinyl Stripe Issue

I suspected as much, but figured those issues only really happen with new or really old applications. Oddly enough, the edges appear to be perfectly adhered, but probably doesn't take much for something to get under there. Was avoiding messing with it too much since it's pretty minor (had to...
  6. Vinyl Stripe Issue

Does anyone know what's happening in this area on part of the vinyl? These stripes were factory installed (it's a 2020), and this area just popped up a few days ago. Everywhere else looks good.
  7. Chipped paint on bumper

Interesting. I believe I see what you're referring to. Makes sense giving the slight damage to the splitter that was in that area.
  8. Chipped paint on bumper

Just out curiosity, how are you able to tell the bumper has been repainted? I've had the car coming up on 1 year now, had 3700 miles when I got it. Bumper had some previous damage to the splitter, but the paint has always looked really good to me. Never noticed anything "off", so to speak.
  9. Chipped paint on bumper

Fortunately there's no gouge or damage to the bumper, it just looks that way because the paint slightly bubbled from whatever impacted it. Peeled most of it away with my fingernail, but missed a little bit near the top area. The paint I used was ordered from paintscratch. Always had good luck...
  10. Chipped paint on bumper

Got this relatively minor spot on the bumper that has really been triggering me. I touched it up, but the paint doesn't match. Is this due to the metallic nature of Iconic Silver, or just poorly matched touch up paint? Is it possible to get this spot to blend without respraying the entire bumper?
