A bit of a werid one but I have a buddy who’s got a built voodoo gen 3 short block that’s offering to give it to me for cheap cheap. My question is would my gen 3 timing, heads, computer, etc work with the voodoo short block. Maybe it’d just be a tune or would I have to change computers and heads...
I’ve built 2 350s when I worked for my local race team when I was younger. Doesn’t change the fact the block would be sent off to be sleeved and that’s why rotating assembly’s are a thing their pre balanced
I ended up just having ordering a stage 3 calimer with the 5-6 billet fork upgrade was the better option I think I’m just stuck between a vengeance stage 2 or mantic heard good things from both and the vengeance is cheaper has anyone had any issues with them?
I was going to just get it warranted when it broke but they denied the claim so to having a aftermarket clutch so that’s why I’m passing the idea around
It would cost about 3k more to do I’d rather see if this is possible first before going that route my buddy had a mach1 with the 3160 and it felt great
From what I’ve seen I would only need the trans driveshaft and shifter, I can get a brand new 3160 from ford for 2400 and the mgw and dss ds is only 1600 all together also I’m not sure if the mach1 has a cooler or if I can get a one without it
So ik the 3160 has a 23 spline input and per McLeod the rst I have also goes into the mach1 also my tuner can tune for the new gear ratios in the 3160 the speed sensor is the same but I can’t figure if the gear position sensor is the same I doubt they’d change the whole harness I’m just not sure...
Hi, I have a 2019 mustang gt with the mt82. Recently my 3rd gear shift fork broke and I was thinking about swapping a 3160 from a 2021 Mach 1 in the car. From what I’ve seen my mcleod rst clutch is the same as the mach1 so it seems I’ll only have to change drive shaft and a shifter and maybe...
