  1. Need Advice: 19-20 GT350 or 19-20 GT350R?

I enjoy this thread because I feel like I went through much of the same thinking (overthinking :)) as well at a similar place in life. The other comments here are good advice, you need to buy exactly what you truly want otherwise you'll always be wishing it had some option or some trim etc...
  2. Need Advice: 19-20 GT350 or 19-20 GT350R?

one more since you mentioned it as well: bought the Ford ESP for $5800, 6yrs/50k miles. They've definitely gone up a lot since 2023 when I originally was gonna buy it - but car was totaled the Friday before the Monday inspection visit ... Anyway 6yrs/50k miles probably overkill mileage wise but...
  3. Need Advice: 19-20 GT350 or 19-20 GT350R?

just read more of your thread, I'm the same age as you, my 2019 GT350R was like $120/month when I was 23 and owned it if I recall, it was totaled in a garage flood a month after I got it ... 3 years later, my new 2020 R is only like $81/month, my 2024 Subaru Outback is like $94 LOL. Then again...
  4. Need Advice: 19-20 GT350 or 19-20 GT350R?

I was in a similar position as well, got a ride in a regular one, loved it, got a ride in an R and it was game over - had to have it. The R is an absolute bargain for all the extra goodies and benefits. I bought my 1-owner 20k mile 2020 R on BaT in January for $80K. I was in the market for...
  5. Carbon wheels. Where to get tires mounted MA/RI??

Did you end up using Eastside Motoring? I had a 2019 GT350R and believe the previous owner went there as well but didn't own the car long enough to need new tires. I now have a 2020 GT350R and need to find someone who is willing/capable of safely working with these wheels
  6. GT350R carbon wheel tire mounting in NH/MA

interesting, good to know. Apparently there are no Discount Tire locations until New York, but loads of them elsewhere around the country
  7. GT350R carbon wheel tire mounting in NH/MA

good resource, and I will talk to shops on the list, but ironically 2 of the dealers listed on the Hunter website are ones that told me to go somewhere else, including my local Ford dealer
  8. GT350R carbon wheel tire mounting in NH/MA

Good afternoon, Does anyone have any personal recommendations of Ford dealers (or other) in New Hampshire/Massachusetts who can safely mount and dismount tires on the carbon wheels? My local Ford dealer, otherwise excellent, suggested I go to Mercedes or Porsche dealers, both Mercedes and...
  9. Tire Inflation Kit Question

do any of you guys know the part number for the kit and if I purchase it, does it include the slime or is that separate purchase? Both my compressor and goo are missing from my new 2020 GT350R, I think it was used. I have an aftermarket solution but would like the OEM Ford one as well
  10. Heritage R for sale

Ironically given the discussion around shill bidding, I personally thought OP's auction was shill bidding at the time, given how high the bid went on day 2 or 3 ($75K, I remember) and then the actions of the final bidder (outbidding himself...never seen that). The OP emailed me later telling me...
  11. Heritage R for sale

I'm 26, got my first R at 23 and lost it in a flood almost immediately. Just bought its replacement, hope it arrives soon. Been driving nothing other than my miserable Subaru Outback for almost 3 years stacking chips for R #2. 2020 or bust, go big or go home for me as well. I didn't really want...
  12. Heritage R for sale

This is a good price, I was bidding on his auction and assumed that was whereabouts it would land price wise - the last bidder outbidding himself all the way to $80K seemed like a joke to me, not surprised it ended up being a flake. Good opportunity to also avoid the auction fees now. I just...
  13. Florida FS: 2019 GT350R

Great deal. I see some others on here with pretty aspirational pricing. Best of luck
  14. Help me buy a 350R

Link to the car is expired and didn't read the whole thread but I owned one last year, got totaled, intending to get another, but realized prices definitely jump headed into Summer (probably normal for this type of car). I'm sure someone linked the red 2017 on BaT that sold for $90k recently ...
  15. Has anyone owned an R first, and went to a non-R?

Good stuff all. Thanks for the varied perspectives. Yes I did drive mine to the office a couple times. I put about 500 miles on it. Was actually my only car for a couple weeks 😂 was planning on getting a beater for winter later in the year and then ended up sadly losing it in the flood
  16. Has anyone owned an R first, and went to a non-R?

Have been in both, was more of a philosophical question - regardless, thanks
  17. What did you do to your GT350 today?

I am 24, never owned a manual car before the Shelby. Took a lesson from an instructor here in town and about 6 weeks later I'm driving the GT350R home 😂 Uhh, I was a little nervous Can thank my father for the car enthusiasm gene. I got a few friends who are into cars and drive manuals too. But...
  18. 2020 GT350R Heritage Edition with 43K miles for 63K

Nice. The miles wouldn't scare me much. Sounds like a good deal for a 'driver'
  19. Has anyone owned an R first, and went to a non-R?

I had a 2019 GT350R for about a month last summer until it was totaled due to a flood (about 20-22 inches of water) while sitting in my garage - KR349 / 1FA6P8JZ6K5551983. Was sold on Copart pretty recently Paid $74k, got $77k back thanks to insurance. Nonetheless, a GT350 sized hole remains...
  20. 2020 GT350R Pricing Advice

I definitely wouldn't throw in the spare wheels either. If it was me who bought the car, I'd just sell them anyway, lol
