I cant speak to dust yet, but I just put G Loc GS-1 pads on my Mach 1 and braking performance seems to still be outstanding. No noise at all. Though i did do Girodisc rotors at the same time. I dont know that i would consider Powerstop to be any better than any other painted hat, zinc washed...
Where are we at pricing wise with these for this year? I can get one more summer out of my Cup2s and then looking to get a lighter set of wheels and new summer tires. I could do that anytime between now and this time next year whenever the price is best.
Sounds like your tuner set up an E85R type tune. They can set one up softer for E60/70 being ok. I have an E85 tune as well. But would only run that if I ordered barrels of the good stuff. These issues are why I went PCMtec. I have a valet, 91, 93, and E85slot. I run the 93 slot tune and input...
I have an ethanol sensor and a user adjustable PCMtec tune. I have used Caseys and a Philips 66. As long as its over 60% im happy. I input the exact % each time I fill up.
Im not sure. This was news to me until i read it this morning. I went with GC cause it was a little less $ and seemed like they do a good job with balancing and use good quality ends.
Would this be an easy DIY fix? I will have my driveshaft out to put in a CF unit. I have an odd little clunk when slowing down that could very well be this. Could also be suspension though I have very low miles and havent done anything spring, strut, shock, swaybar wise to my car.
Dan Estal at P1 tuned my Mach 1. I have a 91, 93, E85, and valet slot with user input ethanol %. It is fantastic. My car is immensely faster on the local E60-65 than it was on 93 and the stock tune. Transmission is better as well. Though mine never bugged me much stock.
