Well my car has been on hold for a little over 2 months now, and still silence from Ford. No update on when it's going to be released. Pretty poor customer service from Ford if I might say so myself. Nobody has answers on why it's delayed or an ETA of when it will be delivered.

Interestingly, I’m in Canada and the performance package is only showing as a $4500 option on my 2022 window sticker. Very odd considering that the CAD is worth less than the USD with the exchange rate.

Thankfully my car was just built on 01/13 and released to carrier on 01/18, so it seems I narrowly missed the plant shutdown. If production was scheduled a couple of days later I'd probably be waiting a few extra weeks for the car.
