  1. Catless back to catted

Nope just the stock manifold, last owner just did a cat delete on it.
  2. Catless back to catted

Yeah where I live there is no emissions testing. Lucky me
  3. Catless back to catted

It's just the stinkin driver's side that is the one. Passenger side ez, just unbolt and rebolt with flange. I guess in theory you could do that to the driver's side too, just drop it down where can be welded. Trying to avoid going as "redneck" as possible
  4. Catless back to catted

I mean in theory I guess you could, but where it sits in OEM position, I've been told it's too difficult to get a welder up in that shit. I'm not sure lol
  5. Catless back to catted

Would high-flows with O2 sensor work? Or being high-flow they would have too much flow? I found some cheap WATERWICH High-flows with O2 sensor on amazon, like $55 a pop.
  6. Catless back to catted

Sorry I wasn't specific in my original post, I actually already have OEM cats for the car, but due to the excessive labor of replacing the driver manifold, etc... I was hoping there was a less expensive alternative.
  7. Catless back to catted

Normally I wouldn't bother, but trading/selling it outside of private party is a pain in the a$$.
  8. Catless back to catted

Any recommendation on a certain brand/model code? I want to at least get some good ones in that will make sure to pass emissions and what-not.
  9. Catless back to catted

2017 Mustang GT. Previous owner did a cat delete on the car and I'm trying to resell the car or trade it in on a different vehicle, but it's proving to be a challenge without cats. Are there any good/less expensive universal cats I could have welded in so that my problems with CEL and unable...
  10. Lost on exhaust setup ideas

I have heard the Tru-X does its job sometimes Too well. The other option I had almost entertained before going with dual 1794s was the dual in-out borla resonator, it works very well also. The dual 1794s I installed took my car from Obnoxious to Very Loud. There was an immediate difference...
  11. Lost on exhaust setup ideas

Okay all. Update, I went ahead because it was relatively inexpensive. I went with two of the Vibrant 1794 resonators welded in right after the cat deletes. Parts and installation only cost me around $200 and it made a Huge difference. I'd say it cut down on the drone and metallic raspiness...
  12. Lost on exhaust setup ideas

Do you think in my original question, if I added some 1794 vibrant resonators, it would tame it some? I love the sound of the outlaws, very aggressive and deep, just so f-ing loud lol
  13. Lost on exhaust setup ideas

I have not, if I can recall I researched and it’s basically a touring system by Borla? For the same price I was leaning toward the awe touring. Probably similar results with either one I’d bet though
  14. Lost on exhaust setup ideas

That’s why I kinda moved away from mbrp quickly because of the drone I would get. Yes I live in an area where salt is used during winter
  15. Lost on exhaust setup ideas

Yeah the outlaws have pretty gnarly drone. Can barely have a conversation lol. So the AWE Touring is a good choice, even though they're straight through resonators not actual mufflers?
  16. Lost on exhaust setup ideas

My biggest concern or issue is the 100% volume and the rasp, that's why I was really curious how the vibrant resonators would do to take it down like 20% and kill a lot of the rasp. Only trying to go from a 10/10 to like an 8/10
  17. Lost on exhaust setup ideas

I've taken a gander at the AWE touring system also, seems to sound pretty good. What do you think about the corsa double h idea?
  18. Lost on exhaust setup ideas

Is there any opinion on one of the MBRP catback systems with h-pipe? Looked up many videos on youtube of people running catless with mbrp catback and it sounds pleasant, loud, but the rasp seems fairly tame. My original idea was to add a couple resonators before the mid-pipe, and then I had a...
  19. Lost on exhaust setup ideas

Quick and to the point.... My exhaust set up is as follows: Stock Headers -> Straight pipe (cat delete) -> Straight pipe -> Flowmaster outlaw axleback. So stock headers followed by straight pipe all the way to the axleback. My problem: It's loud AF, way too loud and over 3k rpm has echoing...
  20. 2019 Headers on 2017?

Yeah I get that. I did think about it, but for the kind of driver I am, between the cost of LTH and then a tune, it's a little outside what I really want to do with the car at the moment. I'm a pretty casual driver.
