  1. Clogged Transmission Cooling System (Automatic)

Car has 75k miles, only service to transmission was fluid and filter at 30k miles. There's no seals leaking and it operates normally until it overheats (which I haven't been able to replicate since either). I don't think it got damaged during the overheat event. I noticed well before the...
  2. Clogged Transmission Cooling System (Automatic)

Did the car have any symptoms when driving it before the fluid overheated?
  3. Clogged Transmission Cooling System (Automatic)

Was driving on the highway for a few hours on a hot day. Transmission got up to 120C and fluid started coming out of the vent valve on the case. I refilled the transmission fluid and it hasn't leaked any since. I do feel like my transmission gets up from 25C (ambient) to 80C quicker than it...
  4. Parking Brake on Right Side Calliper Acting Up

Update for anyone reading this in the future: lube fixed it for about 3 weeks and then it went back to being broken. I ended up replacing calipers on both sides and now it's gone for good
  5. Mustang Photograph of the Month Contest – February 2023

Precisely what I did. Haha yes. Also jacked them up and sprayed the hard to get to spots with a garden hose at home too.
  6. Mustang Photograph of the Month Contest – February 2023

Thank you. I appreciate it. This photo was actually taken pretty close to you. It's the salt flats in Utah, 45 min west of Salt Lake City. There's no photoshop in the image. The back story is cool too. I was driving through there from Vancouver Canada on my way to Dallas and I stopped to take...
  7. Mustang Photograph of the Month Contest – February 2023

No edit sir. Flooded salt flats in Utah : )
  8. Turbocharger blew up. Can anyone guess what happened based on the sound?

Yes. They didn’t even ask me for proof of oil changes or such. I always changed the oil every 5000 miles on the dot with synthetic. They replaced the entire turbo and cat (oil leaked into it cuz of this) Very pleased with Ford. Especially that they took the care to replace the cat which had...
  9. Parking Brake on Right Side Calliper Acting Up

I sprayed the parking brake linkages with silicone lube and moved all the linkages around repeatedly. The idea being that with less friction, the spring would be able to return that lever down completely. Parking brake stays tight after every application now. I only did this yesterday so it...
  10. Turbocharger blew up. Can anyone guess what happened based on the sound?

Yes was exactly this. All fixed now. Thank you
  11. Traction Control light intermittently flashes under load

Do you have different outer diameter tires on the front compared to the back?
  12. Parking Brake on Right Side Calliper Acting Up

After manually moving this lever down with my hand, the subsequent parking brake application works fine. However, after releasing the parking brake, only on the right side calliper, this arm doesn't fully come down back to where it was (on the left side calliper, it does). And subsequent...
  13. Turbocharger blew up. Can anyone guess what happened based on the sound?

No I don’t see any loose air lines. No fluids leaking either.
  14. How did this happen?

No it is a mistake by whoever wrote that.
  15. How did this happen?

Lol @Ford? Ford Canada's website says twin turbos on the build page.
  16. Recall Worth Fixing?

I am wondering if the following recall is something that affects the operation of the car or if it's just to meet emission standards. If anyone knows about this recall, could you provide more details since the description isn't very detailed. Is it the canister, purge valve, or both? Taking my...
  17. Any ideas what this is?

Happened after overheating the brakes but google images of “overheated brakes” doesn’t look like this. Can I fix it without buying new rotors/does it even need to be fixed or is it fine? Thx
  18. Rear not lowered at all after installing lowering springs

Ok so update, that was the biggest PITA ever. However, the results are that the car dropped about 1.3 cm (0.5") in the rear. Still not the 1" drop Ford claims. Anyone else seeing that FP street springs don't lower the car too much in the rear on their car? Or are there more issues at play?
