I decided on a H pipe and I’m going with roush when the car comes in. Since the dealer I use is a roush performance dealer, they’ll just install it when the car comes in and I get a discount on it.

Yeah I messaged him a couple days ago but got no response, he changed to Brian@BMVK, but his profile says he hasn’t been seen on 6G since August.
Yup, he’s moved on. I actually sold him an OEM resonated GT350 X-pipe.

Hey y’all, i’ve been searching hundreds of exhaust clips for an all stock w/active exhaust with a resonator delete but i’m so indecisive since I can’t hear them in person, What would you recommend as the best company/type or model for the best resonator delete option for an all stock w/active exhaust?

Thanks!
Really comes down to what you like the sound of most. H will have a deeper old school tone where an X will have a little more rasp to it. Brand doesn't really effect sound but I can get them all.

Feel free to DM me or call with any questions!

None of them sound good with headers which is why I'm going to do a Stainless Bros 3" resonator/muffler in the center and keep my stock active exhaust for my Mach 1.

If no plans for headers, pick your flavor or X or H.

You should try a youtube channel like CJ Pony Parts. They have a lot of videos with sound clips of different setups. I went with the FP x-pipe. I personally dont think their is any need to change anything but the resonator with the AE. Its sounds great in normal mode, but its not too loud. Then you can change it to track mode 🔊

I have a used GT350 stock X pipe on the way, will post results if there’s an easy way to account for the different pipe sizes.
Mikepol12,
Cut the connectors off the stock resonator as close to the resonator as possible.
Then if you look at the Gt 350 resonator you will see where the pipes were expanded from 2.5 - 2.75. I left about a 1/2 inch of the 2.75 material and slid the stock 2.5 resonator connector into it and welded all the way around it for a perfect seal.
Hope this helps.

what did you do on the back end? It looked like the two legs were too close together to tie into the back half of the stock exhaust.
