A weird issue popped up with my '21 GT. When the headlights are on, the driver's taillight doesn't come on. But it will work correctly if the turn signal is used or the brakes are applied.
At the same time the above began, the driver's side front parking (yellow) light doesn't come on with the...
According to Crutchfield's fitment guide, the GB60s are 0.20" too deep for the factory door hole.
0.20" seems pretty small, so I'm wondering if there's a trivial piece of trim in that area that could be cut away to accommodate these speakers, and if so, would the factory speakers be able to be...
I went to attempt this, and yowzah those bolts are really on there! Granted, I'm using a flimsy multi-tool that's not easy to grip.
For those of you that did this, were you able to loosen the t40 bolts with a ratchet/socket wrench, or did you use a drill/impact driver/etc?
I hardly need tools...
My '21 is noticeably slower to connect to Android Auto than my '19 was with the same phone and cable. (Both cars have the B&O.)
The only thing not in your list that I can think of is to see if there's an update on Ford's website for a Sync update: https://help.ford.com/update-sync/
I'm really interested in doing the bolt spacer solution.
I see the link for the spacers, but am reading two different bolt sizes in different posts (40mm and 60mm). Can someone who's successfully done this post a link to the bolt that worked with these spacers?
The only time I've had this happen is when I'm plugging my phone in shortly after the car starts.
I think the infotainment is still booting or performing some other behind the scenes task at the same time Android Auto/Carplay is trying to load.
Everytime it's happened, simply unplugging the...
Playing with the idea of trading up a bit, and want as much info as I can before going to the dealer. (And I'm almost there!)
Is Ford still putting that awful sound tube in the 2021 GTs? I'm pretty sure they were in the '20s, but not sure about the '21.
I have a '19 and taking the sound tube...
Just adding my two cents/experience here.
I've read many, but not every, post in this thread and one of the main themes are people with pre-2020 Mustangs wanting Sync 3.4.
I have a 2019 GT and logged into the Ford site today and lo and behold, a 3.4 update is available for me
I previously...
Not happy with the B&O "sub", nor the aftermarket sub in trunk. Can't even hear it with the seats up. With the seats down it's still too muffled, distant.
I'm thinking of going with 2 12s in a forward firing ported enclosure with the seats down while I'm driving.
Think zenclosures but ported...
In addition to the gauges listed, you can also display your 4 tires' real-time (or close enough) air pressure instead of those gauges that aren't very useful for daily driving.
The tire pressure one is accessed by hitting the setting (gear icon) button on your steering wheel instead of the pony...
Thanks all, with a lot of wiggling and elbow grease it does pop out.
Took it for a spin around the block and wow!
The first thing I thought of was how nice it is to only have exhaust noise from the rear. No more 2k rpm loud drone coming from the front.
My second thought was how in the world...
I've watched as many videos as I can but can't figure out the factory clamp that secures the sound tube to the intake.
The videos all glazed over this part.
Once the pliers are on the metal tab on the factory clamp on the intake side, then what? I've pulled on it pretty hard but it won't budge...
Not sure if you're still looking for responses, but I just did an upgrade using the PAC Amppro. Has a T harness so you're not cutting wires, and allows you to retain or ditch the factory amp. DSR1 requires the amp to be replaced entirely. DSR1 also has pretty poor reviews for reliability.
The...
I need to do this. The OEM transmitter in my '18 Edge was awesome. The Mustang one sucks. I just need one that doesn't rattle. Every opener I've attached to a visor has always rattled.
The only option I really really wish I would have held out for on my 19 GT is the active exhaust. The sound blast at 2k rpm gets flat out annoying very quickly around town.
I ordered a sound tube delete (mixed reviews but ultra cheap, so it's worth trying), and had a shop install about 80lbs of...
With the 10A in drive (not sport) on the highway, as others have said mid 20s minimum at sustained highway speeds.
My GT isn't even broken in yet, and I'm already getting better mileage than my '18 Edge Sport (2.7 TT). Not a lot better, but still.
I've only had noticeable drops in mileage when...
