My best is a 1.62 60ft at 20psi on Hoosier D6 bias ply. I've also got full spherical bearing set-up in the rear suspension. Stock springs and sway bars. 2015 Perf Pack, 2018 Intake, full exhaust and headers, and Steeda tune. The bias plys make quite a difference over any radial.
I used my stock throttle body. If I was going to upgrade I'd use the 87mm GT350 throttle body. A lot of people claim tuners have trouble with it, but I say find the guys who can tune it because they likely know what they are doing.
2015 Mustang GT with the Performance Pack and 6 speed manual. Has an Injen Cold Air Intake and Thermal R&D Exhaust. Best 1/4 mile to date was a 12.6 @ 108mph with a 1.88 60ft and 3200 DA. At times the car trapped near 112mph. Today I tested a 2018 Intake that I hand ported with a Steeda custom...
Little late to the party. The Coyote is near the limit of power production for a naturally aspirated, gasoline powered street engine. You can't run 15 to 1 compression no matter what kind of tech you have in the engine and if you want it to be streetable and get good mileage you can't rev it to...
Thermal R&D Cat-Back Exhaust
This is what I put on my car. I didn't believe I needed to spend $1500 on an exhaust and this was the answer. Has a great sound, uses sound cancellation tech instead of a rattling muffler, made of 304 stainless steel (the best you can get), 3" through pipe, quiet...
1) The Mustang is a sports car whether people want to admit it or not. Unless you're still living in the 1980s. Sports cars used to be classified as 2 seaters only. That is no longer the case as both Mustangs and Camaros have stomped many legitimate, exotic sports cars.
2) The Mustang is a bit...
The car is already a porker. But, my 2010 Mustang GT clearly had more room in the rear seat than the S550. I am short (5'6") and the top of my head hits the window in the back seat of the S550. I had a couple of inches in the S197. I think it would help sales and keep the Mustang viable for...
My car came with Carbon Fiber stripes when I bought it used last year. I've never owned a vehicle that received so many compliments. About once or twice day if I stop at a gas station or a store someone says something nice about it. Your car looks great!
Installed a Thermal R&D exhaust, Blowfish shifter bracket, and a Steeda Enthusiast Stop the hop kit on my 2015 Mustang GT. It has the Performance Pack on it but still felt skittish when getting on the gas in turns. The level of control in the rear of the car jumped about 3 notches. No more back...
The problem with the trap speed is the car is hitting the rev limiter almost 100ft before the timing lights at the end of the track during both runs. That's why I believe the intake is making the bigger difference in the midrange. The 60ft time was .116 seconds quicker, but when you factor in...
