So I've noticed a slight gap between the weather stripping the stock GT350 airbox has when it has the Cervini's GT500 style hood. Does anyone have any experience or know if the 1-2" gap between the box and hood would be fine for heat?
Should I look into get an aftermarket closed box aftermarket...
Hey everyone,
So I ordered the wrong steering wheel from SoCal Garage Works some time ago when I meant to get one for the 2020 year mustang. So, I have a brand new, just opened (to take pictures) steering wheel for a 2005-2009 Mustang.
It's Carbon fiber, perforated leather, red stitching, and...
For me, I 100% financed my GT350, but I wasn't worried about payments and it's what I wanted. She's also my daily. It's mine, so I'm going to drive it. Track or street. I'm not worried about "value", because I plan on keeping my car. Smart buying is key, and a lot of people do not smart buy...
Anyone have any good recommendations for someone that does good decals? Just looking for some fancy numbering for the car. Doors and hood, mostly. This is for a GT350.
Honestly, I've been considering the whipple. Consider me a sucker for the whine, but I'm hesitant to get rid of the sway bar. FatHouse or a hellion set up has been on my radar for the fitment reasons. For some reason I've just never considered a procharger. I do know that fitment is pretty...
I've been thinking about boosting mine. Maybe you folks that have actually boosted them could provide me some better, hands on information.
1) How has reliability been? I remember when the flatplane crank was first talked about, everyone talked about how a s/c would throw it out of balance and...
My first GT350 was a 2018 (base) and she didn't consume oil. Her demise was, unfortunately, in an accident. Stout car and she had no issues.
Now I have a ruby red GT350 (base) and she came with issues with 7 miles on her. Pass tense, mind you. Had issues. The oil pump was the first thing to go...
You had to hit me with the exact color of the car and wheels I was looking for right up at the top. She looks amazing, too. Exactly how I envisioned it.
You say the 19x11.5 you offer is a direct fitment without spacers for a square set up? I do not mind that I cannot rotate and swap around. So...
That's right. I forgot about the difference in offset. When it comes to wheels, my knowledge isn't that extensive. So I tend to overlook most of this. All this helps to know. Thank you so much.
This also helps and gives me a lot of information to look for. I've been thinking about getting new...
So I've been considering doing a square setup with my 19 GT350 in regards to the wheels, since it's almost time for me to put new boots on the car. I like Michelin, and it works for me, but the Cup 2's wear out. For DD it's not very practical and the MPS4's seem a bit better on that end. The...
That actually looks pretty solid and comfortable. I will consider this for sure. The options I were looking at were more racing steering wheels with quick disconnects and a minimalist approach to the wheel itself. This might be what I have to go in on. Looks pretty good!
Looking for a 350mm steering wheel that isn't the usual black leather and silver/black spoke set up. Are there are aftermarket steering wheels with carbon fiber AND leather for the grip? Black leather on the 3 and 9 o'clock is preferred with carbon fiber possibly between the 10 and 2 as well as...
They should be the same size, but I could be wrong. I have the handling pack and the bolts that came with the new spoiler (no gurney flap) were the same size. Unless that's just how they come when you order them individually. It doesn't look like you can order them separately from Ford; but you...
In regards to the 2019 GT350 (non-R) spoiler or "swing", this has been something I've gone through and personally had to deal with Ford, Ford Parts, and a couple of dealerships (with actual photos of parts) to get this figured out. A couple of others have inquired about the part numbers as well...
That is actually something I went over this a bit here: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/2019-gt350-gurney-flap.126887/
The people that work in Parts Ford can only see so much. What we see with the schematics is also what they see. It took me going to a dealership and getting a PHYSICAL...
It was pretty unlucky. The ironic thing was, I had the sales guy with me when the lights came on for low oil pressure. Again, they took care of me and I haven't had issues since they replaced the shifter, tranny, and the engine. It just seems like I got the unlucky draw this bout, but in the end...
My 19 GT350 had an oil pump failure about 7 miles down the road ... FROM THE DEALERSHIP. Brand new. The dealership took care of me. Three times. The motor was replaced with the oil pump failure. Then the shift rod kept sliding through the bearing after that. They replaced the entire shifter...
