Working some revisions. On revision 3 I got a ZL1 this evening from about 85mph up to about 130mph. Just CRUSHED a Lexus IS about 6 times on revision 4. I didn't have the dashcam in the car for the Lexus, but here is the ZL1.

Funny you ask Cory, as I meant to post an update last night. I have been smashing people and was running a C6 Corvette on Saturday, ran 3rd gear out and shifted to 4th, it flared pretty hard before it caught. Beat him anyway, lol. Ordered a Vengence stage 2 from #Beefcake yesterday. Should tighten things up a bit.

I just bought the Whipple dual 11inch Spal fan kit to help mitigate some of the potential heat soak issues during the summer months. Looking forward to getting them on.

I sealed my entire front core assembly so well, that my OEM fans will pull a T-shirt through my grill into the heat exchanger. :). So itā€™s like having fans without actually fans in the way. :).

I thought my fans might do the trick on their own, but I think they aren't going to quite be up to the task. I had the VMP dual fans on the GT500 and they worked very well. I think they were twin 10 inch and these are 11inch. The Whipple oversized HE is bigger than the VMP unit on the GT500 was, as well.

Every day. We've been having some of the most beautiful weather the last few weeks too. Trying not to kill the clutch while waiting on the Vengeance Stage 2, but I'm not being super easy on it.

Being lazy by not reading most follow up posts and just responding to initial post.. install is pretty straight forward with whippleā€™s instructions. Just take your time and read (not skim) instructions a few times before you start tearing into it. And match up pics they show to what they are saying for specific hoses etc.

There was a post ab whipple installs and what to watch out for also.

Hurt the car today. Was behind 2 2020+ GT500's coming out of Carlisle on the PA Turnpike. They couldn't get away from me, lol. There were people in our way and we were running 60-80mph goosing it up and down. IAT2's were 120ish when we cleared the goofs and it was on. I ran it up to about 120mph and then backed off. The car popped out the exhaust when I backed off then started running rough. I limped it home. Temps were good, but you could tell it had a misfire.

700whp on gasoline with .009ā€ ring gaps. I sure hope not. But Iā€™d bet on itā€¦.

Ringlands probably.
