  1. Schroth quick fit vs quick fit pro

Well, I imagine they'd sell me another :cwl: Thanks for the info. Like everything else, there's always more to the story! Sounds like I will be looking into HANS next.. maybe I'll plan to use the 4 point and HANS on my solo runs and standard belts for any rides with a passenger.
  2. Schroth quick fit vs quick fit pro

Literally all I want is to not slide around so much in the sport seats during some track time haha. I found it very distracting last time, my first time in the 350. Before this car I did many days on track in a BMW e92 M3 6mt and don't remember fighting for position in the vehicle nearly as...
  3. Schroth quick fit vs quick fit pro

Yea, from what I've been seeing tonight I'll need to install 2 brackets (that it comes with) to the left side interior of both the front and rear. Need to remove the rear seat and interior panels. Seems like some modification to one of the panels is probably needed. I also thought they just...
  4. Schroth quick fit vs quick fit pro

Hi all, just received my quick fit pro for 2019 gt350. Couple years ago I went to a track day and learned about these belts. I was sliding around hard on the sport seats (should have got the Recaros!) At that time they didn't fit the 2019 belt clip size. I just randomly thought about this the...
  5. Oil change light after 1yr, 2k miles

Got the car April 2019, got the oil changed around November 2019. It's been right about 1 year and 2k miles since then. Assuming it's the time and not the mileage, but I'm curious as to why the oil would need to be changed just on time, isn't it synthetic and not subject to break down? Thanks
  6. 2020 GT350 Track Attack Registration Now Open

Oh wow, sorry man.. yea that was my first time ever calling in. I've been watching for the dates to be released for a while now. They ask if you want to add insurance, $220 for the day w/$7500 deductible(!) and if you want their in car video was like 75$ or so, I said no to both. I took the...
  7. 2020 GT350 Track Attack Registration Now Open

435-27-SPEED option 3 Maybe you called too early? I hit 3 and someone answered right away.. just got off phone literally couple minutes ago
  8. 2020 GT350 Track Attack Registration Now Open

I called and got signed up in 5 minutes this morning. I received my car in April 2019 so just barely made it in!! Looking forward to beating hard on someone else's car for a change even if it's just 1 day :)
  9. Moving, HPR track 40 min away, $1250 unlimited pass

I've done about 6 weekends with bigger clubs like Audi and BMW in the past. Only one so far in the Shelby, though. They still do point by don't they? I'll definitely try it out before committing to any type of longer pass. Being so close though, will be hard to beat. Thanks for the info about...
  10. Moving, HPR track 40 min away, $1250 unlimited pass

Hadn't seen PMP yet, just looked it up. That's less than 2 hours away as well.. this is going to be fun. I'll be relocating to Parker around March!
  11. Moving, HPR track 40 min away, $1250 unlimited pass

I had looked up in past if there were any road courses there, and I found a few. Now that we know the address (just put down a deposit) I looked it up: https://www.highplainsraceway.com/open-lapping-days/open-lapping-days-unlimited-season-pass/ $1250 for unlimited track day season pass...
  12. Most 2019’s no Recaro seats?

I took my '19 to the track this last weekend with the non-recaro seats.. I was having a hell of a time shifting while sliding all over. They are great on the street, but really not-great on the track. I'll definitely be trying to get some type of harness like the quick fit for my next event...
  13. Handling package - Adjustable strut top mounts?

Just to follow up here, I was able to set max camber at the track, car felt fine, even better than before.. and then put it back and drove home.. no obvious issues at all!
  14. Handling package - Adjustable strut top mounts?

After the install of the plates they aligned the car. I haven't touched anything yet, but it feels different, very floaty almost. Also seems to tramline more. I dont have the sheet in front of me, but it has numbers for "actual" and "before". If I read it correctly, it had like -.28 toe and now...
  15. Handling package - Adjustable strut top mounts?

Haha ok great thanks, I definitely would've tried only one side. I was planning to go max camber just for 2 days then back to street. I realize that the toe will be affected, but I'm going to try it. Afterwards, I'll put it back to the street side. Would I still need to realign? It should be...
  16. Handling package - Adjustable strut top mounts?

The plates are already installed I just mean for track day adjustments. I'm assuming since they can align cars without adjustable plates, that the adjustment on top is not part of the process. The instructions indicate that they are installed (and then aligned) while in the "street" position...
  17. Handling package - Adjustable strut top mounts?

I just got mine installed this week. Stupid question incoming.. do you just jack the car up loosen the top 3 nuts, slide it over, and then slide it back at end? Any idea on the torque? I've yet to see clear instructions on how to adjust them! Also, will they (should they) already be at full...
  18. Galpin service mega-fail, this can't be normal

Got the car back tonight.. neither of the warranty issues were completed. Car was there from 11/13 - 11-21, so 8 days. Looks like the oil was changed day 1, and the strut towers done today. There was a sign on the dash that said "NO WASH" which I didnt ask for, but I guess if I had the choice...
  19. Galpin service mega-fail, this can't be normal

Yea, I'm supposed to (or hope to) get the car back today but I still don't know the condition. Got any recommendations where to take it next time? I got a new advisor apparently who started communicating again over the text messages yesterday evening. - text received "your car is done! Please...
  20. Galpin service mega-fail, this can't be normal

Man, so I've heard good things about Galpin Ford and GAS (galpin auto service), so I brought my car, 2019 gt350 w/2400 miles, in there to get some warranty work and my "handling package" dealer-installed optional adjustable strut towers (camber plates essentially) installed. I have a track...
