  1. Texas GT350 OEM brake pads, camber plates, oil filters

Post is updated with available items.
  2. Ceramic coating - Full process

I agree, the car looks great and will make cleaning the car so easy. If you do not have good experience with detailing cars I would have avoided the process as well. I have ceramic coated my cars and it takes time, including cure time. The process takes a full day for me to complete the car...
  3. 2018 GT350 price

That is a good deal since they are probably tired of having it sit on their lot. I got a deal on mine as well, but yours is even better. My trade in on the Gt350 was higher than that price.
  4. Texas GT350 OEM brake pads, camber plates, oil filters

I am selling some parts leftover since I sold my Shelby to get back into a prepping for a time trial car. Most of the parts are brand new or had less than 1500 miles on them. The prices below do not include shipping. SOLD- OEM Front brake pads (less than 1.5K miles) SOLD- OEM Rear brake pads...
  5. Road Atlanta - questions

To answer your questions when I tracked my 2013 mustang GT (non-track pack with 3.31 gears). I'll try to find an video and attach later since that was a few years ago. 1. What top speed do you typically hit on the long straightaway after turn 7-8.? about 140-145 2. What gear are you in...
  6. My First Track Day in the 350

Typically, I change my oil after two full track weekends as a precaution. I have had oil analyses done on my previous cars and the oil had more life. I would change the other fluids for the first time after 12 track hours unless there is another reason. The first fluid to change out is the...
  7. My First Track Day in the 350

Glad you had a good time on track. It is definitely a fun hobby with great like minded people each event. I personally would sign up for another track day since this was a very controlled version before buying spare wheels/tires. It'll take time before you reach the limit of the street tires and...
  8. Engine oil question.

Pretty sure the manual says to wait 15 minutes, not 5. I would recheck after the correct amount of time to ensure it's not overfilled. I would always check the oil at the same exact time each time so you can have consistency with measurements. As long as you're between the range, you are good.
  9. Couple of Random HPDE Questions

I'll provide my thoughts. 1) I doubt this makes a difference in cooling, a good solution would be to ensure everything is taped off and sealed in the front end. 2) I have ran the heater in the paddock, but it will not help with cooling either. I don't think I'd fret too much if the head...
  10. Tapping sound at take off. HELP!!

Can you feel the double tap in the drivetrain or in movement? Is this a consistent every time at take off or random? I do not think there has been others with this type of noise.
  11. Tapping sound at take off. HELP!!

    Says video is unavailable.
  12. Anyone added Parking Lamp Curtains / Side Scoops / Hood Louvers?

I don't want anything else that will add weight or can blow off when on the track.
  13. Using Gas cans at the race track?

I don't recall having to use anything additional in my previous mustangs with the same design. I use VP cans and the same nozzle as before. A majority of the grey tip goes into the tank similar to pumping gas.
  14. Sold it

I plan on picking one up in addition to the GT350. The GT350 is great, but not competitive when it comes to racing unless you gut it. Even then, a c5z can be more competitive with less effort and still have better laps times. I don't think it's a bad choice by any means and hope you enjoy the...
  15. GLoc Pads...Clunking Around

If you track your car, you'll want the Ti Shims. Otherwise, it'll transfer the heat into the caliper and require more rebuilds. The problem you describe doesn't even seem like piston kickback since you should be able to "Set" the pads on the rotors. This should only occur while turning which...
  16. Checking the Oil

Check the oil at the same exact time interval to ensure you have a consistent reading. I check mine at the 15 minute mark each time which gives me the consistent reading for fill up. I have not had to add any oil yet despite my driving style, but haven't started hitting the track fully yet. My...
  17. RUBY RED GT350/R Thread

It's just cheap vinyl which you can order from amazon. At least comes with a spare set too.
  18. First Track Day Experience

Congrats on starting the addiction. We all have started at one point of time and seat time is the best thing any driver can do to improve. I do want to clarify your information since I do not necessarily agree that the car needs nothing. Your experience may work at that particular track with the...
  19. GT350R Track Prep...Brakes Pads and Fluid?

Replace them both. The fluid is DOT 4, but not to the quality of SRF. If you run in advanced groups, the pads will last a weekend, but be disappointing in braking power. I just swapped both of those items on my GT350, but I just street drive with race pads. It's not my daily driver and the stock...
