I was at 8 months for mine. At that point I was so frustrated I cancelled it and got a Bullitt from a dealer a couple hours away. Love the Bullitt but will never order another ford vehicle again. I was told 6-8 weeks upfront. They say what they need to to get you to place the order
After 32 weeks look who showed up. The dealer couldn’t give me a date so I found a bullitt at a local dealer. Torn between the two. Both beautiful but the Bullitt is here at home in the garage and she is a beauty.
There are certainly some long delays. I have since cancelled my order with the dealer but the dealer is still taking the car I ordered in and will sell. It's week 32 and there is no end in sight. The car I ordered did not have magneride nor was it a PP2 and still issues. I'm very happy they...
I really don’t want to go any further into this debate. I’m not standing up for the dealer but they did say they screwed up. With that said I was walking away and going to purchase the car directly from another dealer. I received the numbers which were high and went back to the dealer I had made...
Couldn't agree more... they have been very good and will deal with again. With that said, I won't be doing any ordering in the future but would certainly purchase something off their lot.
Well, after 7+ months of waiting for the GT I had ordered and no end in sight I presume it was guilt. :). They rented an enclosed trailer, drove an hour to,pick,it up and brought it right to my house.
That was unloading at my house. Wasn’t easy getting up the driveway. It is beautiful... this is a step up from what I had ordered. Can’t wait till the snow is gone and get it on the road. :)
For everyone waiting you have to check out this article in the Detroit local paper. My order was placed last August and no foreseeable date. No one I talk to at Ford seems aware of this from what they say. This shed light on the delays, mind you it took almost 6 months to get to production...
Nope, mine is/was a GT premium. This is week 30 with no end in sight I'm getting a Bullitt from a local dealer. The worst part of the experience is they tell you 6-8 weeks and once you get to 12 weeks you just start getting angrier with every passing week.
That's unfortunate. I had ordered on August 17th and production was apparently the end of January. From there no one has an update as to when it will be shipped. I've talked to Ford performance, Ford Canada, local sales manager who talked to Ford rep, and they talked to others and don't have an...
Appreciate the feedback. I won’t be tracking the car regardless of which one I choose. It’s a summer car and typically around 6,000kms per year so keep the mileage low. I’m normally not a green guy but I’m really liking the highland green.
The dealer is very apologetic. I don’t think it was...
Appreciate the feedback... that's what I was thinking as well. The delta between the GT Premium with active exhaust, 401A and 20 aluminum wheels compared to the Bullitt is just over $7,000 CDN.
So, big decision! I'm in week 30 of waiting for my 2019 GT Premium in Kona Blue. I just got off the phone with the sales manager and there is no EDD. He can't promise anything but he can promise I can have the Bullitt tomorrow. Do you keep waiting or upgrade to the Bullitt? The price delta isn't...
Where about's in Canada are you? I'm in the same boat. I ordered last August and still nothing. Ford Performance dates keep coming and going. Hopefully there is an update today.
