Yeah that's the same issue I'm having. The rails don't even want to sit at the correct angle against the supercharger housing. I've ordered some m6x25mmx1.00 pitch studs to install into the s.c. housing to make it easier then trying to get a bolt to tread in.
Well I just finished installing a Calimer stage 3, w/ a Mantic clutch. I will be pushing the hell out it, with 900+. Once I get everything broke in, I'll let you know how it holds up.
I was thinking the same, maybe the stock clutch is shot. Just hate to spend more money on MT82 components if in the long run a magnum xl will be better. Such a dilemma lol
I was hopeful that adding the blowfish bracket would have helped with locking the shifter down, but as of last night it still doesn't want to go into 3rd
Well.....the stock mt82 didn't last that long at all. After about 10 passes trying to shift into 3rd gear at 7800 is a no go! Added the blowfish bracket and that didn't help. Driving normal 3rd is ok but not under high rpms.
That being said, which is better, stronger, Calimer Stage 3 MT82 of...
Was at the track this weekend and disconnected the ABS pigtail next to the air box to turn off all of the nannies, the steering assist fault message appeared. Even after I reconnected the plug the message is still there and no power steering.
Thoughts?
