Hi folks -
I had my 2018 Mustang GT PP1 for just under a year and sold it due to needing 4 doors (Audi RS3). These parts were on the car for about 7,000 miles and worked great. As of now I prefer to ship since I am out of town and I can arrange to have it shipped. Prices are posted OBO...
My situation is likely different than yours (I have an 18) but Kooks sells 1 7/8 that bolts up directly to the stock resontator. It can be as loud as I want (track exhaust mode is stupid loud) and quiet is very reasonable.
Interesting assumption that I am not a skilled driver. The first advice I consistently got from other F80 owners when getting my F80 was do not drive with traction control off. This was from experienced drivers that tracked their car all the time (and they followed their own advice). Why do...
The driver matters even more in the M3/4. They really struggle putting the power down in the lower gears. I got rid of mine for a 2018 GT PP A10 because of how annoying it was to constantly light up tires, not to mention traction control was extremely invasive. I could have gotten 100+ rwhp...
The most important thing on dynos is baseline vs. a run once modifications are done. Comparing Dyno a to dyno b on different days, conditions, cars, etc. is a waste of time.
My car stalled twice on the way to work at near idle. Sent log to tuner and their response was that I have a fuel trim issue and a "dirty maf" signal.
How would I go about diagnosing?
Also, how do I upload the log here? It is a .CSV file.
Quiet mode is still pretty tame while track is flat out obnoxious. I don't know how folks do the catless with resonator delete!
I can try to do a video and post it.
I fail at technology, so below is a direct link to the before and after dyno. I am not focusing on peak numbers compared to others since every dyno is calibrated differently, but instead focus on the gains.
This is a Mustang dyno on a hot day (about 93 degrees). All in all the car shows gains...
Just to update the thread... I will be getting before and after dynos on a Mustang dyno. Car is being worked on today. The after will NOT be E85 but will be 93 octane since I have to do some data logging and send to Lund Jr. before I get the flex tune.
Yeah I am hoping it's up there. I am hesitant to run full E85 very often due to it being hard on the HPFP. I may do around E60 or so to give the fueling system a break and hopefully that is enough corn to make a decent difference!
I am fortunate to have 2 E85 stations within 5 miles of my...
Greetings everyone -
I am new to the 2018 but not new to Mustangs. I had a 2011 GT/CS back in the day and my 2018 just hit 1,000 miles.
I am dropping my car off tomorrow to get the following installed:
Kooks 1 7/8 catted long tube headers with OEM connect (I don't wish to wake the dead...
I actually just traded in my 2017 F80 M3 with competition pack and 7 speed DCT for a 2018 A10 with 401A and pp.
The M3s strength is also its downfall. Anyone that has owned one and is honest will tell you that it simply has too much torque too soon (there is a reason why the new M5 went to...
New here
