He is a well known Mustang shop but this was the 1st time he did this. It was pretty simple. He used HP tuning software to change the oil pressure from switch to transducer. Took about 20 minutes.

Not a performance tune, just had my local guy go into the tuning software and “turn on” the gauge.

After drilling I installed a grommet on each side. It is trimmed out really nicely and looks factory. I’m really happy with it.

I have a 2016 Ecoboost and the wire with plug attached was already there. It was tucked behind the radio, clipped behind a panel. The early part of this this thread shows exactly where it is. Once I plugged it in my boost gauge immediately worked and I needed a local tuner to change a setting...

Finally got the tune..all working perfectly!

I just purchased from Flood. A 6 year 100k with a $100 deductible PremiumCare for my 2016 Ecoboost Premium was 1/3 the price of what Ford direct wanted me to pay.

I’m not running a tune so I was hoping to just get someone to change the necessary parameters. Looks like unless I spend the cash on a tune, the oil pressure isn’t gonna work.

Question, after calling so many local tuners no one can commit to doing this. Do you know if the dealership can?

Anyone figure out what program is being used to turn on the oil gauge. No one locally can do this for me.
