I agree. Overall I am happy with the system. Install was easier than the last two single tips systems that I've done. The looks are still better than the factory stuff, and the sound is excellent. For the money, they can't be beat in my opinion.
I also know that my pics are all messed up. When...
Well, I had the day off, my wife had to work, and my parents wanted to watch the baby. Ya know what they say about idle hands. So this will be a walk through on the install and initial thoughts on a Roush Axle back exhaust on a '19 GT. We will get down to the bottom of this fitment issue.
The...
Well I received the Axle back kit today. The original box it was in was kinda beat up, but it's a brand new kit still in the plastic. So good job on that American Muscle. With that being said, and after looking at all the pictures I can find online, I am just not sure I want to live with the...
Yeah I've looked at all the online pictures i can find, and some seem to look really well positioned, and some seem to look like they hang too low. If I get basically face level behind my GT now, they are not completely up in the cutouts in the bumper either. The pass. side is very slightly...
It was on the regular detail page for the Roush axle backs. I just checked, and that option doesn't seem to be listed. They must of only had one or two of them.
Well American Muscle had a open box Roush axle back set for $450. I went ahead and snagged it up. Hopefully they don't come in beat to hell, and fit the car well. Hopefully will have time to do the install Saturday. Will report back on how it goes. I really liked the set I had on my '17, so...
Anyone else have any input? Anything else that would be recommend over the Roush set up? I had them on my last car, and was happy with the look and the sound.
Yeah, that was kind of what I was thinking. I noticed it actually pulls air through the left side of the grill. I imagine opening that area in the grill would probably have more affect that installing a aftermarket cold air intake. Any recommendation on a drop in filter? Oiled filters donāt...
I am looking at doing some axle back exhaust on my new '19GT. I had the Roush axle back on my last car, and liked them pretty well. I am assuming the set up for '19 would produce similar volume levels as what was on my '17. So I was reading the reviews on American Muscle, and saw a few pictures...
I have a '19 GT that I am looking to do my first mods to. I was looking at the Roush cold air intake, because I am not looking to do a tune at this time. I am not looking to do anything that jeopardizes my warranty. So the Roush says it does not require a tune. With that being said, is there any...
Thanks, and that looks promising if itās the same visor used on the ā15-ā17. Iām pretty sure Iāve seen somewhere on here that people have put them on the older cars that did not come with them. My visor is illuminated, so thereās some kinda plug there. Whether itās the same or not, who knows. I...
So I took delivery of my '19 GT this past Tuesday, and with this car I wanted it to be a little more basic, and not so much like a luxury car. I never really cared too much for the leather in my previous two Mustang premiums, but wanted to keep Sync3. So it was the 301a package for me. I do miss...
Yes, my new car definitely has Brembos. My ā17 did not. I really wanted this car to be a little more basic, and thatās why I optioned it that way. Iām thinking the difference in the steering wheel leather must be a non premium car thing. I drove a base 300a too and it had the same leather as...
Well I had some time to work with the new car and take it out and drive it some tonight. Went ahead and installed my Steeda jacking rails that I pulled off my old car. Also changed out the wheels from my old car. I just don't think I will ever like totally black wheels. Had to sync up my TPMS...
Well I appreciate everyone's responses (well almost everyone's). It cost me a little more than I initially thought, and it took a week to get it here, but the overall package with the A10 plus performance pack was too hard to pass up. Almost all the modifications I wanted to do, plus more power...
I appreciate all the responses guys. and hlh1, that is my mind set. I would have purchased the performance pack on my '17 GT A6, but for some dumb reason Ford didn't see fit to offer it. I traded a performance pack car in on my '17 (MT-82 issues and my own messed up knee) so I knew at the time...
Thank you everyone for the quick responses. I really didnāt expect everyone to say itās that much better. I come from an AOD era where automatic Mustangs were terrible. Iāve definitely warmed up to these newer ones. And the āA6 in my ā17 feels decent to me, so the A10 must be that much better. I...
So I've got the new car bug again. Seems to happen about every 24-36 months, and there have been quiet a few improvements on the 18 and up GTs. I currently have a '17 premium GT A6 with base suspension. Before that I had a '17 GT premium with the performance pack. I had a lot of MT-82 related...
Ok so it sounds like I can just get the sensors and install them in the new wheels, and once I start driving the car, they will sync themselves up.
These are the TPMS sensors I will be using:
