Here is the latest news on the FPC Corvette. I don't think many will be surprised it will be offered with AWD. Article is stating that the engine may have smaller displacement than 5.5L but I am skeptical on that one. I am thinking 5.5L release across the board in the production model, but time...
How about the more popular intakes used for Coyotes.
Oh I agree, I saw the VMP video when it was released, but there was some back lash from fans over the tests. Its been a while and I can't remember what the complaint was? I thought this would be interesting to those that had issues with that...
Hot Rod Magazine has completed dyno testing with all of the Coyote intake manifold options.

We Dyno Every Ford Coyote Intake Manifold on a Gen-3 Crate!
I am very interested using this motor in the future but since all of the engine noises has surfaced or the 2018 I would most definitely upgrade the piston and rods to forged versions. That would include OPG and CSG too. Or just wait for the bare block and build myself.
Update...
The Ford Performance all-aluminum 2018 5.0L Coyote crate engine is a modern 5.0L 32-valve DOHC V-8 that uses advanced features like Direct and Port Fuel Injection, Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT), high-flow cylinder heads, and heightened compression ratio to deliver...
Just an FYI... the Gen 3 crate engine will be available in the next month or so (Aug at latest). The short and long blocks will follow and finally the 5.2L variant. I wish I had exact dates to share but no confirmed dates yet. If I find out more I will update as usual.
Latest video with more insight.
Hello folks here is a newer video of Jim going in more detail (well as much as he could) about the Venom Kills Demons comment. FYI.. the interview begins @ 7:54

My apologies if this was posted previously.
The FPC in the vette was in the link I provided on the first posting. I think this is it.

No offense taken...
It will be very interesting if the FPC does indeed end up being true in that larger...
I agree its not that difficult but I cannot say who the source is as it was disclosed to me in private. No, I didn't make this story up as of what benefit would it be to me mis-lead a bunch of strangers that enjoy the same car I like? It was from someone that would know and they were around then...
Lol... So you want proof of something you feel/believe is incorrect, yet you provide nothing to prove I am wrong.
Yeah okay.. I will get right on that!
Thanks for the feedback and responses to all. I wasn't hoping to sound negative towards the FPC.. I actually like the engine I was shocked that GM may use that technology in the ME vette, IF the article ends up being true. I will say that I was negative towards push-rods. As this is a S550 forum...
As I said before " beating the quickest DOHC in the world"... well you know the rest.
Anyway we are getting side-tracked lets stay on topic subject please... the FPC in the C8 Vette.
"I'll take op words with a grain of salt. "pushrod bullshit" just a fyi the quickest "cars" in the world still use pushrods, those engines have their place. the GM exec accident was just that.. accident. Had nothing to do with the car, whether he lifted when he saw the 2 seater or was just a...
This sentence makes no sense to me.
You have to read the link in order to understand it. In summary the wreck cultivated the need for the engine to be moved due to the better handling in that particular turn and situation, that's all. The engine going to be moved wreck or no wreck, the article...
